I love Clark vaults. However, in the mountains we put the bottom in the ground and lower casket and center then place top of vault.

Im assuming that there is a bottom to make sure it seals,right? Very different vault...clarke has been around for a long time.

Most definitely. Because it’s not “sealed” but it appears that the casket may have been sealed so a sealed vault probably wasn’t needed.

This is something I've ever understood. Why the cost of such an expensive steel vault to bury someone? I don't mean to sound disrespectful, but to me it's a totally unnecessary expense.

When someone dies unexpectedly, the families are in a very bad headspace. This is the perfect time for the unscrupulous to offer a grieving family the highest priced options, because "you want to protect them" or "it's what they would've wanted". Basically, why buy a $900 vault when a $5,000 vault works exactly the same?

Everyone has their own priorities and theories. When it’s time for my parents to go, I definitely won’t make decisions based on cost. I’d much rather spend their money on that than have it for myself.

So much money spent on fancy caskets and burial vaults and for what? It is all going in the ground to be covered by dirt and will probably fill with water. All the embalming is just to make the body presentable for the funeral and a few weeks after. In a year, the corpse will be a _rapidly decomposing mess_

@@kelvinzaiontz5368 vaults are normally placed in the ground first , that is sealed! The casket is lowered into it and then covered! I never seen a vault get lowered over a casket keeping the bottom exposed to the elements! What’s the point of having one?

There is a bottom to it. 4:11 and 4:16 you can see the corners. The casket was sitting on it. It's a different design. Plus, most vaults and grave liners are just there to keep machinery from crushing the casket.

@@paulsedlacek6846 illegally but the cemeteries owners make you to buy one because they say that when their employees are working with heavy machinery over the graves destroy the coffings, and they don't want to put some dirt on those holes.

Well I have a very Special Nephew Buried in one and its suppose to be a great one but seaing on the bottom sunds reallly strange to be so I hope its taking god care of Bubba ! Buster I sure do love You Always Sweetheart.❤❤❤
