3" Drop Spindles. Note that there are 2 types, depending on the thickness of your factory brake rotors. There are also 2" drop spindles available from the same manufacturer. Once again, I have no affiliation with DJM, Summit Racing, or anyone else.
Part Four (this video) gives an overview of the upper a-arms and drop spindles used, as well as demonstrating the need to clearance the spindles, which is required for running 15 inch wheels.
Part Three • Lowering Front End, 19... covers assembling the lower a-arm bushings and ball joints, and discusses options when it comes to lubrication.
Part Two • Lowering Front End, 19... covers removing bushing shells from the A-arms by hand, without a press or any fancy tools.
Part One www.youtube.co.... covers removing ball joints and control arm bushings by hand, without a press or any fancy tools.
The truck in the video is our 1984 GMC project vehicle, but the techniques depicted apply to any Square Body 73-87 GMC/Chevy Truck.
