Lowering my GTI on Coilovers! JOM Blueline

Well I recently bought the paint to colour code the side skirts and I might do the front splitter and the standard rear bumper it comes with as the edition 30 bumper that I want is a few hundred so this is a much cheaper alternative which will do for now so maybe do a video on that man. Would be good to see and looks sick once it’s done. Mines black same as yours, LC9Z the colour code 👍🏼

It is advised to use new bolts. However, I used the old bolts. Just make sure your using the correct torque setting.

Hey man. Thanks for your message. Tbh I don't recommend this suspension. It's very uncomfortable and recently they have been making an annoying noise. I'll try make a review on this suspension in a video coming soon

Is the noise like a clunking noise everytime u go over bumps or uneven roads?

Update this suspension is pretty good……. Well you get what you paid for… I have been running these for 3 months now. Without any issues. The lower you go the stiffer it gets. Just keep that in mind

Yes you will. The top mount holds the spring down on the strut. If you remove the top mount, the spring will be released.

Terrible. I don't recommend. I suggest either going for more expensive coil overs. Or good quality lowering springs.

Its at 0:44 its that spinning round on the top off shock

Following, i would like to no what that black plastic thing is, i have it on mine its sat in the top moint underneath like a cup but going over bumps and that i can hear a rattle/jingle so do i really need it

Most probably but I don't recommend this suspension. It's very uncomfortable and is noisy. I recommend just getting a set of lowering springs instead

It should be okay if you put the original top mounts back in to stop it from rattling.

Not too bad for the price. But very bumpy and uncomfortable. Also grease all your bushes at the same time because you'll get noises.

With the original wheels. I just dropped the front and back to the maximum amount. With the new wheels I had to raise the the front about 4 threads.

18 inch

Not from the suspension. Make sure everything is tight and there won't be any unusual noises. But I've got a lot of interior rattles

@@GTIJTI YES THE INTERIOR NOISES , I hear rattling when driving especially turning like a spring sound , I made sure everything is tight and also my steering leans left even after alignment

Maybe the top mount bearing has gone bad. Try replacing the top mounts for the front struts

I did reuse the top mounts. But after a short while. My top mounts have failed. I recommend changing them when fitting the coilovers

I agree. Thought it wouldn't be a big deal because I don't drive fast, I only wanted them for looks. The the ride is extremely uncomfortable. Definitely do NOT recommend
