Looks good. If anything hyperdip the wheels with their new black colors. You can always peel off so it can match the grill. Other then that truck has a mean stance. If I only knew these trucks would come back, I would have kept mine back in 2000. Then passed one up last year for $500. 🤦🏾♂️
I'm 3 months late but your red obs needs to have the gray& chrome wheels on it, you have a nice looking truck my friend its beautiful keep up the great work and God Bless you and your family 🔥💯💪🏼👍👍🙏🙏✌
Wheels were a great choice, I got a black 91 sport, 2/4" drop and a 94 I changed to look like a 91 sport, same drop kit, going red on that like yours! Keep up good work!
Yo Sal...what up dude! I think the OBS looks better with the 20 inch thrust rims, than the rally sport rims..+ the overall the aggressive stance /static drop w /the thrust rims set it off!! the slab phenomenal appearance is real classy and not overdone, I love it! u did good bro!💯✌👍👍
Nice! I've had my 95 C1500 for about 20 years. I believe it has a 2/4 drop and I'm running the Torque Thrust wheels 15x7 with 235/70R15 tires. I'm thinking of going with 18" (same brand) wheels but don't know what size tires, any suggestions?
Dude... The Torq - thrust look is ALWAYS a good bet... they look great on your " SLICK ol' red ride " !!! I have been in love with these bodies since my first one in 88' ! I have a few still that we bought new... a Silver 95' Extended Cab dropped 3" up front, and 4" in the rear with Bell Tech shocks, spindles, springs, and hangers, and a Dark Green 98' 4x4 lifted Extended Cab , a " House of Colors - Flip Flop Pearl White " Suburban, droppped 5.5" and 7.5" using Western springs, spindles, Flopped rear, and Nitro drop shocks... too many. Hey... On this clip, in the intro,( also in this clip, in your garage or shop... ) What year model is the Black short wide...? I love that, and not sure which year... we are building a Black OBS short wide, with a 25.5 cert cage on a twin tube chassis... and would love to know so I could try to locate one! Thank you my friend, KUDO'S, Seth
Just a thought but are you happy with the C notch?? It looks like it hasn't been reinforced with any side plates ??? When we did mine it was the under bed /over frame where you cut the frame out completely and then we added 2" square tubing to the top with side plates that so that it was strong, just a idea. Looks so much better since you dropped it, STANCE IS EVERYTHING
@@salsgarage_ox1103 Its the only way to get the drop where you want it IMO, Im running 20X10 with 285/35/20 and thats about the max as I am close to everything, I still bottom out on bad dips but thats the price you pay to look cool lol. I have phots of the Notch if you want them, email bobandsue@suddenlink.net Ill send you some
@@salsgarage_ox1103 U wont believe this but the OEM air shocks with extenders lol. They work. I have about 3" travel with a pancake snubber. The whole rear assembly is larger on a 454 truck hence I had to make a "bonnet or Hat so to speak so that the pumpkin didnt hit the bottom of the bed
@@bvandme it is but not by much im running a 454ss rear end on my C10 and the axel housing is about 3.5” inches. try the beltech street performers and you will be happy.
I like the torque thrusts better, Think it would be better if she was sitting about a inch and a half higher in the rear. Sweet truck, not many guys can say they have had one that long.
I dig the black wheels on your truck tbh but cada quien you know nice truck! I got a 91 obs extended my first obs I didnt realize they were 5 lug so I'm looking for some dope wheels saw those torque wheels and us mags a lot but ehh the torque wheels to me look best on an c10 fersure! So I might try the aero wheels there cheap on amazon right now
That is too low bro I mean the Kreger‘s are nice I don’t like the black rims at all should put back on the sport 454 rims they look way better raise the truck up 2/4 drop is perfect I like cause you kept your truck original paint and kept the body straight very nice if I were you remove all the Tinted windows leave it clear looks way better to see that interior pop
What back space should I get on those black aero wheels? It gives me options of 2,3, or 4 inches? I dont want it to have problems just be perfect. Any recommendations?
hey man im interested in getting the same black aero wheels for my '95 obs but don't know anything about backspacing or offset none of that stuff can you help me out right now my suspension is stock what I'm I looking for to get a set of wheels like that
for the ones on the OBS i dont have cuz those parts were given to me but type in 323179254170 on google and it will take you to the nitro Drop 2 that i recomend.
yes for the torque thrust and other one piece wheels offer by American Racing with the exception of the forged line those are made in the U.S but cost a lot more due to them being two or 3 piece forged wheels. i just ordered a set for my C10
Now that looks good. I’m so sick of these idiots with tires and wheels sticking out past the body 6”. Looks so stupid. This is how it should be done!!!
