I picked up a 94 hardbody back in march. First thing I wanted to do was drop it on the cheap. Found your Video and WHAM lowered my truck for $34 !!! Thanks for the info an video u da man!
love the video, My 80 Datsun 720 king cab height is like a 1" or 2" lower on the driver side than the pass side. Is all i do is tighten up the driver side to bring it up some, or do I have to pull the bar off and move the spine a notch over a turn on driver side to go up a little? I want to bring up the driver side to match the passenger side height
Nice truck man, sad to see what happened to it. I was thinking of doing the exact same thing to a 1980. However when I checked the link it says it wouldn’t fit. Do you think it would fit? Don’t want to buy and put in all the work if at the end of the day it won’t fit.
In my opinion it’s not worth the work, 1 inch would only be noticed by you since you did the work but no one would be able to tell. I even think 2 inch isn’t enough but that’s me haha
Hey bro, so i ended up dropping my hardbody with 3” blocks and adjusted torsions to match. But after a few months im noticing my fromt end is sagging down more then i originally adjusted it. Is it possible my torsions are going bad? Or do you have any suggestions? Thank man love the vids
That’s just the way they are. When you adjust them to a certain height they always sag a little more because they settle. You could either leave it or raise them up a bit to match
My 720 is very low i broke my torsion bar key is there any places that sell them because I can't seem to find them and I want to get rid of my lean to the right
STONE BROKE GARAGE I have a Nissan hardbody with 4 inch blocks and a leaf redrill and it makes a wierd noise people tell me it’s cuz I don’t have angle blocks not sure tho
Not really tryin to point this out but, if you jack up the rear of the truck, your wheel chocks should go in front of the front tire. Just trying to keep ya safe bro
I wouldn't recommend this for anybody who doesn't know what they're doing. My dad and I raised mine up and it was a pain to get the blocks out. If you want to still do it go ahead but I'm warning you
