While I agree that LTG being permabanned without warning is heavy-handed, I also agree that action should've been taken against him. Rage-Quitting is a form of cheating, as it -- through player interference -- artificially affects one's rank and (obviously) gameplay. You do not have the "free will" to ruin the experiences of others (who also paid money for this game) simply because you paid money. This is clear and obvious [s]tupidity. He also agreed to their ToS and is subject to it, even if he didn't read it. Harada has broken no laws, this isn't illegal. LTG paid for a product, the product requires him to use a service (their online servers), this service came with *TERMS,* he violated the *"Terms of Service"* contract that he agreed to and is now being punished. There is no legal case to be made here lmao

LTG is right. "You can plug to get a rank" is not a valid reason to permanently ban anyone. Obviously it should make you lose points if you disconnect out of a match, maybe a temp ban. MAYBE banned from ranked at most.
I mean they hold the right to remove someone from online services in their TOS, but giving people a loss for quitting would have been just as effective. It’s not like boosting has much of an impact when Tekken is just a 1v1 fighting game.
