How do you get on with fishing at millbay, will be my first time there soon and heard that security are funny sometimes? Always look forward to your vids as they're local for me.
Thanks Andrew. Glad you enjoyed it. Don't forget to subscribe. Plenty more to come. I've fished there a few times and never had issues with security. Just be respectful of the place and I'm sure you'll be fine. I can see them not liking big casts around the multi million pound boats, but dropping straight down is fine.
Fantastic. I'd hate to be one of the smaller fish like the Goby in that area with the ever hungry Bass swinning about, life expectancy must be rather short.
Nice vid you should go down for an Exmouth session me and my friends have had maceral and bass on lures and also had a poor cod, a poutin and many goby’s and wrass to 2lb
Yeah. Good views but the average view time is lower than anything else. Its that time of year where everyone searches mackerel fishing. I'm never worries about view numbers. I like having the high retention more.
I wouldn't ever do that type of video unfortunately. But I have a few go to shops that are very helpful and will answer any questions and help you order the right thing. Send any or all of them a message and you'll 100% get what you need. @@LRFandHRF thank you very much for the reply. I understand your commitment to the type of content you produce and I love it. I've learnt a lot from your videos. I will have a look at the links you have provided
That's great to know. Glad you find them useful. The LRF world is a very helpful one. All the links listed will happily point you in the right direction.
Great video. Been really enjoying your videos last couple of days as I get myself in the mood for my family holiday to Cornwall next week. Usually get a bit of Lerfing done with my UL perch stuff, catching Gobys and Blennys for the kids. Determined to get some different species this year. Dropped you a sub, really enjoy the content 👍🏻👍🏻
Well done m8 great session ive had 2 species this year as i cant be assed to go out just not into it this year but will start again next year on the canal great video 🎣👍
Great video.. I absolutely love LRF fishing especially Ballan wrasse fishing. Even the small ones put up a great fight on the light rods. I had a day like this a few years back on a small pier on the north west coast of Ireland. I managed 13 species that day pretty much the same as you but no scad, I had a sand goby and a dragnet. Came close to hitting the 14 mark had a male cuckoo wrasse drop of just as I started to lift it out of the water. Probably the first time I've been gutted to see a 6inch fish come of..haha
What can I say - you are amazing sir! A total pleasure watching your vids. Congrats on the species tally - how many local species are left? Btw - thank you, I got that book by Dr Peter Henderson. It will be in constant use until I learn to ID the mini's.
Just in general, rod, reel, hooks, lures etc. I've a nethew who wants to fish and I think LRF will be perfect. Where did you fish from near Battery? If you post a video catching loads I will unsubribe 😂
Save time and Hit the unsub now haha. Must have had 40 fish. I put which lure pr hook and bait on every catch. It's under the the species name that pops up bottom left. Tend not to put gear on there coz you can do the same with any set up. The hook and bait size for me is the main factor
@@LRFandHRF not been doing a proper hunt this year just adding when I catch one for myself, up to 32 so far but my fishing been a bit curtailed lately with things happening at home, but looking forward to he big weekender to hopefully get out for.
