Good numbers, very close to my numbers from two years ago when I had the 3” exhaust. I now also have the 4” Mufflex and long tubes so I hope to see a gain next time I go to the dyno. I have yet to hit the dyno with the nitrous yet too but that’s the main reason I put bigger exhaust, for the nitrous. My 4” had helped my 1:4 mile mph by gaining 4 mph so far. I like your car and your attitude, but all so like that you put it on the autocross and are not afraid to give the car a workout, like me. Good stuff .
Thanks Yeah the 4 inch exhaust definitely help the LS3 breathe better. It sounds awesome to. I built the car to take a beating and that's best part taking it out and having some fun with it.
@@Brandon-LSX same here. Same here. I’m doing the UMI Performance autocross this weekend. Two days of autocross I street drive the car out there too. Four hour drive each way, no trailers. This will be my fourth year in a row too. Cats were made to be used, glad you agree
Definitely the single 3 inch was causing a restriction for the LS3. I would say it added 25 whp the rest could be better quality air and lower underhood temps.
@@Brandon-LSX I have a 92 RS that looks exactly like yours. I even have the 18 inch iron chromes wheels. Still have the stock 305 but am going to do an LS swap in the near future. I wanted to run true duals but I see a lot more people going to the large single. It would take some getting use to looks wise I guess lol
Hi what air con system are you running?looking at doing an ls swap on my 3rd gen but l still want air if l can the original was pretty crappy and bulky
Those are great numbers! The 4" mufflex really helped out! It was fate I watched this cause I just finished my custom 4 in exhaust on my Trans Am and going for first drive today!
