What it comes down to is that this challenge is only tangentially related to the initial comment. You are dialing your car in and Tommy is trying to bring his to a level that can beat it. I don't think you need to defend or explain yourself on this anymore. People either get it or they don't at this point.

HP Tuners will auto save all your data logs with version above 3.6. So if you are using 3.6 or the most current 4.0 and 4.2 software it will auto save all logs. You just have to go into your HP Tuner files, then VCM scanner and logs to find them again. No need to drive extra when you don't have too. Also I'm sure Matt has told you or you are already doing this but hopefully you have your wideband o2 sensors included in your logs. It makes it 10x faster when you can create a AFR or Lambda error against the commanded AFR to really dial in your VE table. If you don't have that setup it yet, it's super easy to do so with several write ups around the web. Toss me a PM and I can show you what to look at.

I think it would be great if you would drive each other’s cars too, and comment on the differences. That would be the only way to really see car vs. car. V8’s sounds a million times better than NA 4 cylinders to me in most cases, but idk kinda messes with Miata’s weight balance and total alignment and steering. Rooting for tommy but damn I love this build. 👍🦅🇺🇸

God I'm not a miata fan but I love yours so much I built a really close replica on forza horizon 4 but it makes 500whp either way keep killing it love the content and the car.

if the powers are gonna be that close 300 vs 320 as you said (just a hypothesis don't get mad) i guess it'll come down to the driver?, I haven't really paid attention to either tommy or taylor's driving , so will be cool to see the results, but end of the day will probs more satisfying seeing Taylor win just with a less costly set up, can beat bulk money (this isnt a dig at either parties as i like both of them and their cars)

Where I live in Sweden I don't even see one cop a week. You get surprised when you see one.

I'm in north central Florida in Gainesville and theres two stations with E85 in the city both about 35 minutes away. :( Next closest E85 is 50 miles in Ocala

My opinion on the race with Tommy is that at this point you guys might be even,I hope you win because I've watched you and the miata from the day you bought it and respect the fact you built it yourself with very minimal help,that and your a pretty cool dude that's not a "car a55hole".I really dont watch Tommy's videos because I can't stand his attitude,I did however watch his recent miata videos and yea I can honestly say his car is pretty cool too and like your car the power to weight ratio would be close in my opinion.it does come down to experience,setup and capability of the cars so we'll see what happens but I'm rooting for you dude,go kick some ass and have fun bro!!! I am admittedly team Taylor, but, I don't see anything wrong with prepping your car for a race. For science, I think you should run the right spring rate for drifting instead of grip. I think you are a better driver, it would make it fair.
