Continuing with the wiring harness. Like I said uncharted territory for me, so before you follow what I’ve done, do some research. Thought the fuse block would be easy enough to set up on paper, not the case. First you need to know how a relay works then mapping out the fuse block will be a little easier. LT1SWAP.COM and UCanDoIt2 channel has great info that I took advantage of and you should as well. This video was more of a “did I do it right “and to get feedback on corrections.

I love your approach to defining the connection locations on the plywood. Brilliant. I also love that you have taken the time to draw out your wiring plan. In order to draw it, you first have to understand it. My configuration (manual trans) did not require a NSS. But you might want to research more on what you are planning for merging the B34 and B32 wires off Relay #2 (which in itself seems un-necessary altogether). B34 states that it is the "P" input (I assume Park/Neutral). B32 states that it is the "A" input. If the "A" input happens to refer to when the trans is in gear, you would be negating the functionality by combining them. BTW B72 states that it is the "B" input from the NSS. You made a comment early in the video and I also thought to mention that all PINK wires are 12V+ Switched circuits. They should only have 12V+ on them when the ignition switch is in the Run postion. All RED wires are 12V+ direct to battery, they are always hot regardless of the ignition switch. Cheers and keep at it. Doing great! Mike

Thanks Mike, as always great advice. I agree with you on not combining B32 and B34, I'm going to stick with just B34 to the relay. Still fussy on the pink, red and orange wires, I do get the switched on 12 v pink and the constant 12 v red but I have some wires from the C2 block that are orange and say battery positive voltage. I will review your videos and LT1 swap as well for more insight. Thanks again. Happy New Year.

@@AlienRestoMod In my comment above, I should have stated Orange (not Red). Orange wires are always Hot (to battery with a fuse). Pinks are switched hot.

the diagram that shows safety neutral switch is an automatic trans? and what color is the wire from neutral switch you to pin 86 in both relays?

great video! can u give and idea how to run a wire from fuel pump to fuel Gauge. am using a factory wiring sensor and FUEL CIRCUIT from 2002 chevy tahoe on my 1952 chevy truck. So ithere is a PPL wire from PCM R54 to Fuel pump but i could not find the wire from Fuel pump to fuel gauge. Do you what wire to connect to fuel gauge

The fuel gauge to fuel pump process that I took was not to use the PCM. Opted for aftermarket fuel tank from Tank Inc. Picked up their sending unit from the tank to the gauge. Works great as long as you follow the instructions. The diagram from Tanks Inc. is straightforward on the setup. I did a two part video on the tank in stall, I referenced the diagram. Just pause it or download the pdf from Tanks Inc.

I just put in a used 4l60e transfered my original switch didn't align it because I didn't know that they have to be aligned it only bolts on one way and the gear arm only goes one way back and fourth... My truck is jacked up in the rear and when I put it in reverse it last 3 seconds tires spin then stop .. new fluid new filter.. I was told that these switches nothing to do with how the transmission actually goes into gear.. but clearly it must ?? So my faulty or unaligned shifter switch could be the cause why my transmission won't go into gear because it's not getting ground or bad connection?? Weird how this lil peace plays a huge delicate roll.

Transmissions are difficult. The alignment of the neutral safety switch (NSS) is critical when installing it. Not being an expert at all, I refer to Monster Transmission RU-vid channel on installing the NSS. They talk about the position of the switch. The transmission needs to be in neutral when alignment is done. Hope this helps in the issue.👽

Great video and super helpful, im going with a aftermarket wiring harness, not the best decision i know, are you using your oem harness and would you recommend to stay with the aftermarket one or clean my oem harness, thanks in advance

Most of my decisions are guided by how much can I spend and will it work. The next vehicle I do, I'm going to use aftermarket, less issues. Aftermarket is usually in the middle of the road on cost, and as long as it's made for your application, it should work fine. I did learn a lot, but next time aftermarket.
