You can see that the driveshaft looks bent. Even though you tried to get it dead on perfect you can still see the wobble when it’s spinning.

a friend of mine has a 68 chevelle drag car from back in the day he has his steering rod ground down to about a pencil thickness were it passes by his header tube and he said it has been like that since 1973 pretty scary

Just watched your ls swap Colorado. Wish I had noticed it sooner so I could tell you that's a factory stock option. I know because I have a 2011 with an all aluminum 5.3 so power steering lines etc. could be had locally.

The factory one is garbage cus it has vvt lh8 and lh9 also Gen 4 sucks that's the generation with active fuel management or displacement on demand also the foctory 5.3 v8 Rado don't come with manual tranny

Y’all think it would be possible to put the engine of the C8 zr1 engine, when it comes out, in a 2023 Chevy Colorado LT 😂. Rn I’m running the stock 2.7 liter in-line 4 cylinder turbo. 310hp. Idk I wanna do some crazy stuff with that truck.

Warm up motor for about 10 minutes at idle. There are 2 variant tests that can be done depending on what tools you have. Test 1, the poor man test, rap the motor to 5 grand a few times. Does the motor get to 5 grand (or rev limiter) within 2 seconds from idle??? If yes, ...no plugged cats. If no, or not sure sure, get a vacuum gauge attached to a full vacuum port (test method #2). Vacuum should be around 16 to 17 inches at idle. Raise engine speed very slowly to 4 grand without any engine load. Is the engine vacuum within 2 inches of original vacuum reading??? If yes, no plugged cats. If no, the vacuum reading will be at 10 inches or lower for a plug cat / collapse exhaust pipe issue. Might even hear a "moaning" sound coming out of the throttle opening.

He didn't cut driveshaft correctly it wobble bad ... you cut drive shaft at rear yoke make sure it's true tap yoke into shaft and weld

You know you can cave in that piece of header I know that it doesn't look good but if you look at road kill does header or something or other they beat the living c*** out of the header like cave in all of the pipes and it virtually loses no horsepower so if you didn't one pipe a little bit so that you don't have to mess up your steering column I think it's worth it just use a piece of pipe and hit it perfect dangle as the steering column and then it looks like it was meant to be there
