LS Swapped Dart: Part 3 

Did a LS swap on my ‘70 Dart. Used a front and mid plate instead of side mounts. Much easier. Also running a dry sump on LS. Turbo 400 and a Vortech V30 blower. 9in rear, 4 link, mini tubbed. Getting Fueltech wired up now…. Wanted something different….

Use the rear sump oil pan and rack n pinion

I can tell you now that the idler arms steering rod will hit the oil pan where bends up on each end. You will only get partial steering until it hits the pan.

Guys, save your knees, invest in a drill press, you'll thank me when your 60. LOL. Starting a LS1 swamp into a 65 Dart/4L60E .Thanks for the tips.

What's the brand on the front sump pan?

never solid mount the engine and tranny....gotta have some flexibility somewhere or you will risk breakage

These swaps aren't worth it when you can get 600 hp from a 440 that fits.
