That's a lot of power for those kids. Hope they will be responsible and smart about driving it. I hope they realize how fortunate they have it, having good parents that help with what they do. Those cars are impressive and i really like the falcon. I was pretty impressed with teaching them how to keep the cars running by doing a compression and leak down test.

After having to change my gearbox in the rain on pebbles this weekend.... these kids got it good, for me its just a hobby mild cams yes its 16v. Aftermarket inlet aftermarket ecu, ported head, exhaust nothing mad but daym I would love to have anything 50% of what u guys have! Keep up the hard graft. Them are some bad rides, but I’d definitely put a cage in the chevelle like a 6pt or something. I’ve had some decently powered street cars, but nothing with that much power at the wheels. Glad you’re teaching them how to take care of them, it’s fun having toys but you gotta take care of them because they get expensive fixing them. Great work guys.

There was a guy in El Reno who did machine work who had a green on green with white stripes big block SS Chevelle, it was either a 68 or 69 and I’m pretty sure it was a 454 , he would not sell it for YEARS because his son was born in the car. All it did was sat in his driveway with no cover on it for as long as I can remember . It was in excellent shape. He finally sold it.

I remember back in the early : mid 90s I was working with my dad doing heating and air. He drank 24-7 even on jobs, so he always had to pull over and piss lol well he sees what looks like metal deep in these woods off highway. We walk way into the woods and there sits a complete 68 Camaro ss 4 speed hideaway headlights, car was complete and in way better shape obviously bc this was years ago. Got the registration out the glove, my dad tracked him down and we got the car for 1500 bucks. He had a old Willys Jeep and few other old straight 8 cars in the woods in middle of nowhere . You just never know where they may sit.

Text book is to crank at least 6 rotations looking for the max reading, I think you will get closer readings with that method. The first pump could be starting half stroke on one and full on another need to pump 6 or more to get full reading.

My first car was a 1964 Chevelle with a 283 bored 60 over with a Edelbrock torker ll intake and a 488 lift cam. Not quite 1000 horsepower.
