I have a 2012 ls p7010 which is the same tractor,which I bought new, it's been an excellent Tractor and hardly any issues with it. Had it pto dynoed before I left the dealer and it was putting out just over 70 hp on the pto. Which means that it is more than 73 gross hp. Also bought a 2014 k5055 open station last year with 1000 hours on it and so far it has been a very reliable unit,it's rated at 55 hp but I feel it's probably putting out more than that also, compared to the 45 hp tractor I traded in for it.
I personally prefer the RX cab, as the loader is a little stronger and I'm more comfortable with the cab layout but for PTO or grading purposes, the LS wins. It puts an impressive amount of power out!
awesome when are you guys going to have one of those 7320s put together so I can actually sit in one and check it out I'm a fairly tall guy 6'5" I sat in the mt 347 felt a little crowded in there
I'm hoping to have one set up this week! Our main setup guy is taking a couple weeks off (his wife is having a baby!), so we'll be scrambling, but hopefully we'll get some units built before the 4th
PS is the Power Shuttle. It's an upgrade from thr standars gear transmission. Lets you shift from forward to reverse without the clutch and puts a neutral button on the gear shifter. It's a clutch in fluid, so it's waaaaay more forgiving

Well that's part of the problem I'm moving and sold my old tractor so I didn't have to pull it, but I haven't finalized the distant end sale yet (and anything can happen until that goes down) I'm also in the process of convincing myself that the MT7 is too much tractor, and the MT4 won't get what I want done without additional wear and get it done in a timely manner. I definitely bought the right size tractor last time, but just as assuredly asked far too much of it. (should have bought a mini ex) I looked seriously at LS when I bought my first one, and I was going to call them to ask a few questions again, but since you're quick on the draw maybe I can ask you. Whats the clearance on that guy? I ended up needing a lot in my current situation, and the LS had less than my daily driver. Not as much of an issue this time, but probably still a point I need to check. Also can you lift and curl the bucket at the same time? Small things that save me a bit of time are fantastic. Tractordata nailed most of my other questions, but as you say they're rare. I looked at a Kubota in it's weight class, and they're cheaper until you add the things you need that the LS already has. 45k for the M5 starting out, and 50k for the M4 but the M4 loses out bad in lift, and the M5 is 70k by the time you have the nice to haves that the LS has. So that sweet spot around 75 horse is pretty much LS!
I'm not sure on the clearance, but it's not too shabby. Have you looked at the Kioti RX7320? It's a beast too. The LS has more power to the wheels in our experience, but the Kioti has a killer loader lift capacity.
Just order Ls mt5 73 a few days ago!!! Any of you guys with one ? Any issues with them so far? I have done tons of research and all has been good so far.
Let me know how you like it , I'm thinking of buying one. I have a LS xr4140 that I purchased at a farm show in 2017 and it's been a really good machine. The only bad thing is they don't have but one good LS mechanic in my area but I'm a Heavy equipment mechanic myself so that helps .
@rickywoods3101 Have 30 hrs on my Mt5 73 so far! It's definitely a beast of a tractor!! Im work as a heavy equipment Mechanic also but where I'm at my dealer has been absolutely amazing with other tractors I have bought from them! Look I have probably ran all the major brands in this size tractor doing work outta my own shop I see alot of tractors. Buy far the Ls wins In All categories. I had looked at kubota m7060. Luckily about 3 weeks before I purchased I had the opportunity to do a injection pump and injectors in one that I was able to test afterwards. The power difference and smoothness of hydraulics between it and the Mt5 73 was pretty dramatic. The Ls is just all around bigger, meaner, faster stronger. Im not knocking the kubota its a great tractor but it simply just can't compete with this Ls .
@@lavonminiard5949 Nice , I may pick one up this winter. I'm glad you like it so much.. wanted to do 4x5 round bales , square bales and be able to run a big brush hog.. I do want to use it with a grapple too, does it come with a 3rd function?
@rickywoods3101 Yes sir the 3rd function comes standard. You do have to buy the hose kit separately. You won't have any issue with hay . I pull a 14ft disk with mine. Honestly I couldn't even tell it was back there!
