LS1 GQ (y60) patrol build episode 6 (Dash Rebuild) 

The coyote would be awesome. I definitely would love to work with one in a future project. These Nissan patrol have pretty narrow chassis rails so can be challenging to fit wider motors in. I’m sure someone could get it done but it’s probably out of range for my fabrication skills 😅 the LS is a good platform but it’s a little over done 🤔

Thanks mate 👍 I know the feeling I’ve had the carpet dash mat in there for about 10 years but I’m starting to get an idea how much work I’ve made myself by going black and trying to get everything to match but I can’t stand the idea of going through all this work and putting it back together looking the same way it came out these of patrol’s get a lot of abuse so there’s always something unexpected but they’re disappearing too fast and are worth restoring

Definitely worth restoring, ill be looking at taking on a shorty when the wagons finished, think I have enough parts to do another car.

Making covers or wrapping the steering wheel is a very intense job I’ve wrapped a few in the past but chances are I’ll be installing a boss kit and fitting an aftermarket steering wheel. It will prevent a lot of pain and suffering
