LSB ICR in black goatskin.  

Good review. I am so impressed with the LSB translation; so much so that it is now my main translation. I make use of the KJV, NKJV, ESV and NASB95 but the LSB just seems to get most things right...accurate, reads well in church and perfect for bible study. I also have the LSB ICR; also the handy size in goatskin; and, have recently bought the double column in goatskin which is such a wonderful bible in terms of its readability and how easy it carries. All in all, I think believers are going to be greatly blessed with this translation.

Thanks for this review. I have my theological differences with the team from Master's Seminary who developed it, but I've been reading the LSB side by side with several other translations and I don't see any indication of this being a "reformed Bible". I think they did a fantastic job. God bless the LSB team for dedicating so much time and effort to this.

I have decided to go with the LSB for my family studies. I am a KJV guy but find it difficult to use when teaching my young children. I spend as much time explaining what certain words mean as I do teaching scripture. I can’t wait to get my stack of LSB’s. I’m spending nearly $1,000 for 2 children’s, 2 Paste down Wide margins for my teenagers, 1 Goat skin Wide margin for me & 2 handy size Goat skins for my Wife & I. But these Bibles look fabulous and should last a lifetime.

Totally an LSB fan! I have the N.T. Psalm/Proverbs edition, the Large Print Wide Margin Bible and the Hardback 5 Solas edition. I'm hoping to get an ICR in goatskin pretty soon. Great review!

I am a translation lover and appreciate many. But in recent weeks I have watched the videos from the LSB translation team and have decided the LSB will be my top/favorite translation for study and I am going to get my hands on the hard cover LSB // inside column reference bible. I have several other translations in book form, and do most of my reading digitally where I have access to >20 translations.

What is the 5 Solas edition?

I'm more interested in the translation than anything else. Presently, I use the KJV, NAS, RSV. New Jerusalem, and 2or 3 versions of the TAHAKH, and Young's. I do not care for the NIV. As far as John MacArthur is concerned, I can care less about him, seeing teaches a few things I consider unbiblical, as do others.
