It's the personalties like the Kelly's and the Selvin's that will be remembered.

I have only know and gotten much thrilled from the commentaries of Kelly, Jack, Harold, Selvin, Whitney, Raquel, Stasha, Ceaser, Fred, Andre, and RIP Paris Dupree. She created a blog(media) and made it a smutpage to put out all the naked pics of fem queens and butch queens in the scene. Is that Iconic? When she's on BRTB or her radio show half the time she's cutting up and tearing people down always reading and being shady. Is that Iconic? She recently did a 2 year bid for crafting and now when she comes out she's deemed ICON. ICON for what? Stealing someone's identity or committing fraud. Maybe in her actual life she is an icon, but alot of what we have viewed from her and she has shown us, I can't realistically see how it could be taken as iconic. But to each there own. When Kelly said "I Could Give 2 Fucks about a Status" .... as someone who earned their title and actually walked all the years and made all the contributions, I would have felt insulted to share that title with someone who doesn't see it's value. I think what she meant is status holds 0 weight in the real world after the ball, when you leave the club. You can't do ANYTHING with ballroom status when FPL or the rent man, come a-knockin', which is entirely true. What does some silly title that only means something in the scene have to do with the real world? Unless 24 hours and 7 days of your life were spent in the scene, it means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. These girls give these titles too much life. It's only real for a few hours then you must return to reality.
