Maybe Ohio State should not have been in the championship game .... But without a doubt LSU was the BEST club in the nation .... The BCS Committee rejected UGA, OU, and SC because their loses were at the hands of lower quality competition .... LSU was the better of the two (2) lose squads .... The Tigers endures the toughest schedule .... Both loses took triple overtimes .... LSU was the most "battle-tested" football team in College Football .... ESPN knew a good team .... Thank You ESPN.
To bad being a "hot" team doesn't get you a championship. Losses are not like speeding tickets... they just don't fall off your record over the course of a season. wah wah, Booty was hurt against Stanford. LSU won the SEC championship with their back up QB to a team UGA lost to. But don't let anything like facts get in the way of your argument.
HAHAHAHA, LSU became #1 because neither teams could stay at the #1 and #2 spots..There was no way they were going to allowed UGA who lost to Tennessee and S.Carolina and couldn't make the SECG, knowing LSU losses came from high scoring games against two good teams in overtime helped a lot more than anyone think. In other words LSU had to go through a lot more quarters than any other team just to get a lost last season and they were deserving. And OMG just look at what they did to OSU.
yeah same number of losses but what bowl game did South car go to, or stanford? How many wins did UGA and USC have? You said it yourself that wins speak volume. Don't leave out stats just because they don't favor your team.
Please, No One would have beaten this LSU Team, Not even sure if they were fully healthy, Matt Flynn still had shoulder problems, Glenn Davis couldn't had been fully healthy yet and Early Doucet probably still had Groin problems.. LSU had it all though Running, Passing and Defense and they are saying this year's Team might even be better... Who would have thunk it...
