I agree. Those girls from LSU shouldn’t be ashamed coming short to a clearly superior program in every way. They should understand that even though it feels close, they’re just way behind, right now and for as long as Coach Staley is in charge.
@johnmclaughlin9930 how are they far behind when they are the national championship from last year..last time I checked dawn and the best team in your world lost to Caitlin Clark😂
It has to be tough to have a loss that could have easily been a win and then go and talk about it immediately. Kudos and that was a heck of a game. #CarolinaFan
It's tough, but LSU will be alright. Angel played with so much heart and if she keeps doing that, LSU will REPEAT!!!!!!!!! Angel Reese is someone every one needs on his team! Those blocks on Cardoso were 100% heart!!! Pure street ball...back yard. . BALTIMORE! Angel made Cardoso pay for staring her down. There should be a meme made of that first block on Cardoso, because Angel looked at Kamila and then the CAMERA as if she was saying, "What they gonna say now????"

If LSU plays S.C. again this year, S.C. will beat them by 15-25 points...or it will be a repeat of LSU loss to SC last year.
You can see the hurt in their face, they will be fine and will grow from this game. They played the toughest team in the SEC and loss by 6. But humans watch what you say and do, at the end of the day these girls are human beings they see the hate posts and comments. As fans of women’s basketball LSU may not be your favorite team but watch what you say. You don’t know what it’s doing to the players or how they take it.
Toughness? LSU did not lack toughness, both teams had runs, both teams had impacting turnovers, SC coming away with the dub in a hostile environment was impressive mostly because they didn’t play their A game. LSU was impressive because their improvement on defense shows. Great game 🏀 SEC
SC didn’t have their A game due to what LSU did, then LSU just couldn’t finish with missing too many shots, mostly by Williams who averages over 15 a game, she was off a lot. So, in reply to your comment, LSU didn’t have their A game also, let’s not leave that out.
LSU is GREAT GREAT 👍 I will always have LSU BACK all the way home I'm a senior love watching LSU TEAM play Love watching Angel react to other team players She don't play LOVE IT (Go Angel) Much Love
It comes down to poise. Flau'jae is the most poised player on LSU and doesn’t rush or fold under pressure. Williams need to dail her shot attemps down and focus on other parts of her game beyond scoring. Her future is bright.
LSU lost because they don't have a point guard like Alexis Morris. Poa could have done better than HVL, I just don't understand Mulkey's reasoning on that.
@@mplou699Mulkey had to have been mad at Poa before the game. That's the only thing I can think of that explains her actions for playing/toying with Poa like that.
van lith could’ve went to sc but she tried to go after the hype and the champions like sc didnt beat them last year too but the scary thing about sc is that anybody on the team can beat you even the ones off the bench
Calm down...SC lost by 6 after Reese fouled out. Don't act like y'all weren't on the ropes. There was a lot of talking like this last year until SC played Iowa.
@@mrjroc318 u right if Reese didn't foul out it would be a rap.. every time Reese is taking out the game that is when they go on a run.. SC cam be beaten.. they should have played Amani Bartlett 6'3 to replace Reese..
You have to bring your A Game at all times, but especially against the Gamecocks. LSU started off fast, but finished 😮💨 They'll build off of this, and get better. "Geaux Tigers" 🐅
That's called weak bench positionally, mentality and physically...they are an Ok team not a top 10 team nor a championship contender, that went out the window when KP left and Symia got hurt. Your not winning anything with zero production from your bench.
@@bear-cy7gi and y'all won't win anything😂 you have no depth and heavily rely on 2 or 3 players, south carolina can rotate 2 or 3 players at each position
And won that title last year, blowing out Iowa, something SC didn’t and couldn’t do, that is more important than a home winning streak. And winning by 6 isn’t a blowout, as SC fans been saying that’s all they do. Didn’t look like it. 😢
@@dylanwheat5729stop with all that bullshit, SC doesn’t rotate 3 players at each position idiot. SC played 9 players in the game, that would be one per four starters due to foul trouble. Do your research before an asinine post.
LSU just doesn't have a championship contending team but they are a great entertainment asset for the WCBB game. You need a true point guard, a great power forward and a bonafide center that can rebound and defend to run Mulkey's championship formula and this team has NONE of those elements. They have all guards in the starting lineup with an extremely weak PG and the weakest bench I have ever seen on a playoff contender physically and mentally but that's do to injury and dismissal of key players who had championships experience. LSU bench has four players content to sit, watch and cheer. The few that do hit the floor are mistake prone because they play out of position and mentally weak for the position one of them has to play. Mulkey is recruiting players who are soft and truthful are on a stage too big for their mentality. Like Mulkey said they are in the conversation but they are not the conversation and won't be for the next four years especially if she keep recruiting these soft players.
I respectfully disagree. LSU hung with South Carolina right up until the point that Reese fouled out. If one or more of those fouls on Reese had not been called, LSU would have had a great chance to beat the best team in the country.
What's your reason? Here is mine...SC is talented, at every position experienced and has the best bench in college basketball. They also have mental toughness. They will must likely win the next four championships and hold back the progress of the game just like UC
It will continue to happen as long as the coach allows it by having HVL weak azz run the PG. Everybody on that team knows HVL is the problem but that's Kim's girl and she is going to protect her weaknesses at all cost. HVL isn't being held accountable for her awful play on both ends of the court... Can't play PG doesn't defends, turns the ball over. With HVL running the teams anybody can beat LSU. I see why the Louisville coach told her to get lost she is a hinder to a champion team. They should have stayed with the plan of letting Makila run the point.
@@politicallil7060She fumbled the bag letting Poole go and I still say alot of that had to do with Poole not getting mins even when HVL have 65 turnovers Kim refuse to take her out ion know what she promised her but she’s gone cause her a championship the girls on the team play keep away from her while she chase them around asking for the ball just to throw it away
@@politicallil7060 i gotta agree, but i think she making adjustments now. Look like Poa is gonna run the point and HVL come off the bench. Let us pray 😂
I believe SC had too much size in the paint. LSU didn't double on SC center. Ultimately, the team lost confidence when Angel Reese. Despite all of that, they STILL could've won.
South Carolina has beaten LSU, 15 Straight Games. They can't beat the Gamecocks, PERIOD! Even with the Home Crowd Booing the South Carolina Coach, all that pumping up and they still fell apart towards the end. If SC hadn't loss to Iowa in that last second shot, they would have beaten LSU again in the Final Four!
They will soon lil grasshopper. Mane I watched that game vs Missouri two years ago and it was crazy how they lost game. I have a honest question if I'm SC would you rather lose to a LSU team or Iowa team? Losing to Iowa you'll never hear the end of it due to the CC situation but losing to LSU it's another game since we're both SEC which is how I look at it.
Mulkey is too emotional during games. It's the coach's job to be poised, calm down her team and get the refocused on what the need to do and the come up with x's & o's for them to execute. But when she's flailing all over the place over calls or mistakes, players need your direction not your emotion. can't asked your players to be leaders if you can't lead them as well.
Yeah but they need to take advantage of their ability to monetize while they can. For too long, others have capitalized off of their celebrity and not the players themselves. The net has widened and I’m happy to see student athletes benefit also. It’s a different world all over, and we can’t attribute to the impact to NIL only. Having said that, I feel that capitalization from multiple directions has a negative impact on competitive sports.
Going down w the ship..... U got nil nil nil .uqv a free agent U didnt have to go out like tht. In the everglades for christ sake. W tht coach ....... too late now ... listened to shaq huh? Mmmm.
1- I know it's a postgame interview but WHYYYY are yall telling ya upcoming opponents ALL the ways to attack yall???? and 2- BIG MOUTH MULKEY--- Why you so silent, letting the ladies do all the talking when you drewu p the plays and couldn't help boost them to a win?????? My my my, though now is NOT the right time, it' sure is beautiful to see her quiet for once.
Hailey turned over the ball several times …. She didn’t seem very confident and she didn’t pass the ball when Angel was open under the rim a lot of times. Flaujae seems like she not well.
@@avianthony6149 she wasn’t missing shots for no reason lol. Bree hall played great defense on her. She’s their best threat from three and went 1-10. Just like you think sc was lucky lsu was lucky sc played horrible because they probably would’ve won by 10+ and not 6. Y’all lucky paopao was off if anything lol
@Bb-yq4gi no one was in front of her when she attempted the threes lol..stop it..her shot wasn't falling..it's not because of bree hall or whatever her name is
When you have multiple playmakers it’s like that….She like Westbrook in OKC she needs to control the offense it shouldn’t run through angel that’s the issue HVL is a great player coach gotta let her play her game …
@@CBolton10She’s a decent player lsu wasn’t a fit for her ! Kim forcing the pg on her but clearly it’s not working haven’t worked all summer ! Put her back in the 2 position even if that means she come off the bench she needed a true pg she didn’t need HVL
