LSU head women's basketball coach Kim Mulkey plus Tiger stars Flau'jae Johnson and Aneesah Morrow spoke with the media following their SEC home opening win over Missouri, 92-72.
Coach Kim is great. She brings out the best in her players. I watched her play when she was a Lady Techster and on the Olympic basketball team. She's was sooo good. Back then she played, she set-up and called the shots while playing & coaching. She's a superstar. #LSU Tigers #WBB
If I didn't Already Know that Coach Mulkey was The G.O.A.T! Listening to the Players that she coached at both LSU And Baylor, clearly you can see that She's in A League Of Her Own! It is obvious that she is a Coach that Teach her players the Right Ways to play the game. TOUGH AND INTELLIGENTLY! Flau'Jae sounds like a Coach don't she? 💯❤️ There is No Doubt that she and Coach understand one another perfectly! I wish Coach Mulkey and this team could stay together 4ever, because THEY ARE A JOY TO WATCH! GO TIGERS!💜💛
This was such a good game to watch. They did well. I love how much they respect each other. The players are always supporting each other and encouraging each other.
Mulkey is ahead of Geno(coach of UConn)in this regard…respect as well as adoration of the students. The teaching of the game. The enthusiasm of the players! The joy of the game(not just a job.) Having them communicate to each other when more offensively elite teams do snares and backdoor cuts.
@@user-zn8hg7ky7ythat’s nice. There is def something special about Caitlin Clark and what she is doing for Women’s basketball…Sorry I didn’t mention her as this video isn’t about her..wow
@@user-zn8hg7ky7yI hope she is watching, so she doesn't get BEAT down by LSU like last season. She better be watching. LSU isn't a one player show like Iowa, they are a complete team. LSU doesn't need one player to score 40pts a game and make 15 3's just to get the W. You stop Clark you stop Iowa. That doesn't win Championships.
Not FACTS ‼️ South Carolina Women's Basketball 🏀 is much bigger. LSU knows they can't beat the Lady Gamecocks. Yes they beat Iowa last year after South Carolina played a terrible game against Iowa.
@@vernonkelly3379 Well, obviously you're not convinced, and don't believe it yourself. Cause, your on LSU's site/game result crying. Despite the fact, you claim your a Dedicated, True Believer South Carolina fan.
Lmao . I’m one 😂, yall got a badass starting 5 ! and Poa . Your starters averaged 36 mins last night . 😳. That’s a heep of mins , legs legs legs , gone gone gone by February.
@@bernardriggs2079 Well, thanks for arriving, albeit belatedly. There's always some sorta Goal Post Moving with LSU. So, this is the current meme, after only one SEC game. SMH
Kim read my mind I looked at ESPN stat line on mins per starters and saw the starters average 36 mins , that’s an injury away from being done . HOF coach coaching scared with a 20 pts lead, afraid to sub .SMH
I think she kept them in for conditioning. However she stated she didn’t think the bench could handle the pressure on the big stage do to the way Missouri ran their offense
They really took it to Mizzou with the 5 starters playing till 2:22 left in 4th quarter. Next LSU will play their first Power 5 true road game vs Ole Miss & we will find out if they are legit or not.
I remember those Seimone and Sylvia led teams who only played 5..6 when Alison Hightower was there..but they didn't run as much as Coach Mulkey wants them to run
Yea it seems like that’s too much, what about injuries? and it seems like you would still want to develop your bench and give them experience. I like how Dawn rotates her players and it probably develops the bench more so you have depth especially when people foul out
Everyone knows Hailey can score..Right now she just showing that she can distribute the ball..that's what the league want to see her do..but I do think she trying to figure out when to be aggressive and to get her teammates involved..the life of a POint Guard
Watched this game, and they take some wild shots. Seems they are just tossing ball in air in some cases instead of setting up the offense. They had open players with way better position, but they seem selfish and just shoot awkwardly. I watched the S. Carolina game earlier, and they seem so much more fluid and non rushed and set up players with the best shot. It seems LSU is playing playground ball instead of team ball.
Flau'jae "like" ... ya know? For a word-smith, "like" seems to cover it all - preposition, conjunction, adverb, adjective, noun. Sorry, just noting the repetitive nature.
