LSU-Southern halftime show: The Golden Band and Human Jukebox share the stage 

I have to admit, watching LSU & SU do the Cupid Shuffle together made me #BRProud

Southern and LSU have two of the BEST college marching bands in the nation. Different styles, but both equally skilled and awesome. I'm proud to live in the state that they both call home.

Couldn't stop smiling watching this halftime show from beginning to end. Wonderful show of unity! Proud to be from Baton Rouge!

Now, what other band can you name that can impromptu do what the SU Human Jukebox did right there @ 2:52? Hands down, they are truly the baddest band in the land, the nickname they were given decades ago. This is just a snippet of what they're capable of doing, and their halftime show was honestly the best part of the entire game. Congrats to LSU's football team on winning the game, but shout out to SU's Human Jukebox & Fabulous Dancing Dolls for their excellent halftime performance. The joint venture & superb sportsmanship displayed here was a blessing to witness. May God bless each & every one of you!

Is the mainstream media starting to realize how huge the College marching band market is? I wonder which station will begin boosting their rating by starting to broadcast the Pregame/Zero quarter, and post game/5th quarter battle of the bands along with the game. I though they would have been noticed that vacuum by now. Especially since battle of the college bands are just as big of a market as football, particularly in Louisiana. lol

It makes no sense to have our teams play in New Orleans. LSU stadium is bigger than the Superdome. And it would generate money for the capital city instead of giving New Orleans our money. Build up Baton Rouge. It's the Capital city.

This was some straight BS. lsu treated us 2nd class. From the way they had us seated... That culture vulture band director at lsu needed SU to make them look good during halftime. Then, the SU band director get on the SEC network after 1/2 time and say " We one big happy family" . Dr Gregg's would have never said no shit like that. Him and Mr Knighton are probably turning over in there grave. Lawrence Jackson probably was SMH. We ain't family. I never liked the current band director, he showed his true color. Wish the guy at Texas Southern would have got the top spot. He is a better composer and better director than we have now. They want to close us down and make that lsu North campus. But majority of us are sleep and dont see it, or dont care. They are imitating SU to the fullest. Want to b but never will b... I know it's HARD for the lsu director to b the best in BR. Makes me wonder y he not at Jackson St. He must b a misfit. Like who u want...there is no comparison between lsu and SU band..
