It's over half female coverage on diamonds. I love the girls but the ugly truth is, it's just not as exciting and even girls admit they'd rather watch guys play baseball. @@sntslilhlpr6601 there are more viewers on bb than softball. Just like almost no one watches WNBA vs NBA, yet NBA and ESPN have been subsidizing women's basketball for decades now. It's an agenda. And in college, Title IX doesn't care about viewers. You just build the girl's soccer and softball facilities and hand out the scholarships and ESPN puts it all their multiple networks and that's it, period. Fait accompli. And it's not a conspiracy. It's happening in the open, if you have paid attention. Corporate America is entirely woke. I've been watching CNBC, as a hobby (pretty foolish one, as it has turned out) for 16+ yrs. I can tell you the change on that channel over the years has been remarkable. They routinely have CEOs on there from the S&P500 and they ALL come on and are asked about their climate plans, what percentage of female execs they have, their ESG ratings, etc., etc. It's pretty crazy. And every, single one of them toe the line or face bad press, boycott, demonstration AND have major investment companies and massive blue state pension funds refuse to include that company's stocks in their funds. I watch it a whole lot less than I did just 4 or 5 yrs ago. It gets worse every year. Woke is a euphemism for communism... cultural Marxism to be precise. That's a brand of Marxism that attacks cultural mores that hold a society together. In stubborn places, like America, those pillars have to be collapsed before the "transformation" Obama spoke of so passionately can occur. It's everywhere. Sports and entertainment is targeted because nowhere is sports more important in shaping culture and opinion like it is in America. They went full-bore over the Kapernick thing and haven't bothered trying to put their thin mask back on again. No one in that crowd will speak up on keeping trans out of WOMEN'S sports. Interesting, hmm? Not really. It's simple. Trans will create more chaos, now that basic, feminist goals have mostly already been achieved. Time to move on to greater levels of chaos and transformation. What better way to do that than to attack the very idea of gender. If society can't agree on that, we can't agree on anything and become an impotent society. And we're getting there. Another weakness for bb with woke crowd? Relatively few blacks in college bb. I watched LSU - FL finals and out of 50 players, I doubt there were seven blacks total, almost no starters. No "diversity," you see. Unacceptable.
