Iowa was great, Caitlin Clark is my favorite player, however there's the fact that we just weren't prepared to do intense battle yesterday. It's unfortunate because a title was on the line, but Iowa literally played it's heart out on Friday night to beat SC.. as for the hand gestures and trash talk from Clark and from Reese, it's part of the game, it really is part of the game...if you don't like it, do something about it.

Well, LSU is not a very good 3-pt shooting team, yet they had an extraordinary 3-pt shooting performance at the best time. To beat a team that shoots from the perimeter that well you have to match them, or else you're trading 2's for 3's. Iowa was capable of doing that, but the difference was LSU was doing a better job guarding the 3. Iowa did not. They played the percentages. And that put Iowa too far behind to catch up. If LSU was playing South Carolina for the championship and performed that way, LSU would have beaten them.

Still can’t get over the false equivalences being drawn by sports media pundits between Caitlin Clark’s brief in-game “you can’t see me” gesture (while walking away - in a different game, mind you) and Angel Reese’s extended, in-your-face “ring finger taunt” (while intentionally stalking Clark at the end of a big game). Shannon Sharpe knows full well that in the NFL, a player may posture and celebrate a big play while walking away … but NOT directly in front of the other team. That’s a big penalty, in large part because it can incite violence. I’ve watched a lot of sports over the decades, and have never seen anything like this in a televised final championship game.

Not trying to be mean but if you watch your average WNBA game it just isn't entertaining basketball. There is like no athleticism at all and layups are being blown left and right. If they got the right talent in the WNBA they could go somewhere. But the way it is, it's never going to grow.
