the disconnect between lsv and marshall constantly saying the set has bad fixing so it's 2-color decks only then having 3-5 treasure tokens every game on top of three 5-color lands in his deck is very confusing =P
It is quite interesting in a psychological way, specially with that death touch creature that ventures when damaging. Do they block and lose a creature and life? Do they let it go through and risk the dungeon? Do they use removal on a 3 drop and lose life? It's quite neat
36:18 seems like a really early concede. Equipping Battle Cry Goblin with the morningstar, pumping once and swinging in guarantees Lolth dies right? Your opponent is left with a couple of small creatures and a blink dog in hand. I don't think we're much behind after that
Good catch. I don't think LSV saw that he could kill Lolth. After attacking, LSV would have like a 1/1 Goblin in play and a raise dead in hand, and opponent would have a 2/1 and a 1/3 in play and a 1/1 double strike in hand.
What was the mistake that justified the "Oops" in the game at 57:30? Opponent needed to chump block and damage the 4/4 skeleton maker for Manticore to kill it, so giving LSV an extra skeleton was unavoidable, wasn't it? Edit: oh I get it. They could have used Manticore to kill it before LSV's end step.

It's pretty terrible where you're not able to use the extra cards on curve. is. higher CMC deck The life cost is super relevant; works great in his build, or something with Innkeepers/Lifelink It's value probably follows the quality of your deck
@@RW77777777 yea it is when your deck is slower it is bad but this is true for a lot of slow effects. If your deck is very slow you probably shouldn't put even more cards to slow it down.
One minute into the 1st match and I am still wondering why anyone would give up a premium card and double splash blue for a crappy sower who should be uncommon, yet is overvalued in LSVs eyes. For someone who always passes superior sowers, you seem to overvalue that thing.
I agree, that was strange. And going over all games it made a difference in one of the games only, but not by much. I was still surprised he never had any troubles to cast it, tho.
This is the 2nd time in the last two streams that LSV has forgotten about a Land that can turn into a Creature (56:50). If LSV is forgetting them then can you imagine how many other people are. They should not be in the game, at least not at instant speed. They are too hidden and too easy to forget about and they are not fun.
@@vaxxeenmtg9733 In both this steam and his last one, Hall of Fame, Pro Player LSV didn't notice a land that could turn into a creature and he attacked into it by mistake, twice. I'm saying that if he, someone of his level and ability, can make these mistakes then maybe there is a problem with lands that can turn into creatures. Its too easy to forget that they are there and it sucks when you attack into one by mistake. I'm saying that I don't think you should be able to do that at instant speed because it feels bad getting surprised by it and having it eat one of your creatures. You can't just say "get gud" because again, if LSV, the "gud" player is falling for it then there is a problem with that mechanic.
