Because LAN cables offer a more steady connection, but cost extra. Playing on Wi-Fi is usually a red flag a lot of higher-rank players avoid, but LTG isn't anywhere near the level where it matters, and he uses it to cope way more than he has any right to.
Thanks for the info. I have my own wifi set up and I ran LAN cables for certain things like consoles/PC because it's how I am and what I wanted. My wifi set up wasn't cheap but considering rental costs by my ISP, it has paid for itself by now and I have a better and more useful product. I guess LTG just isn't meant to be understood and better ignored.
LTG claims that people are broke who use wifi because he has the mentality that it is easy to get a cheap cord and a modem, not thinking, realising, or caring that people live in dorms where the modem is locked up, live upstairs where they don’t have a cord long enough to be safe, or live with parents and are playing casually. You can lag with a cord too.
2 things happen, either he ends up losing his house cause he can't pay for it and starts his homeless arc or he is lying about his income and get hit by the IRS cause he's too stupid to money launder correctly.
