A rip from DJ Lee Metalheadz Podcast - Unreleased Dubs. LTJ Bukem created this tune weeks after Horizon was released. It is too bad this wasn't released as well!
After loving LTJ Bukem, Horizons, Good Lookin and all things atmospheric DnB since the 90s, I now discover this treasure in 2020. 25 years! Just proves that quality music really is timeless... #Bliss
Wasn't allowed in to LTJ in Belfast many many moons ago because me mate was wearing trainers. When a bouncer says NO !!! He deprived us of a priceless experience
was there a much of a scene in belfast back in the day? living in bristol for uni introduced me to jungle etc but grew up in NI and never saw any events
worst thing about the electronic scene, the rampant stagnant gross elitism that still plagues what could be the most freeing, unifying experience, hate it hate it
The legendary LTJ Bukem at his best , the great Danny Williamson , always at the finest and high quality sounds , the cosmic groover thanks for this rare and fantastic track from the liquid and interstellar grooves master Still unbelieveable in 2020 and ....ever !!! Respect forever good vibes ! THX
it wasn't made after horizons its was actually way before, around the end of 1993 VERY early 94. im good friends with DJ Tayla and used to play his dubs. he had this @ the end of 93 :)
Great song. I really like the PFM and Peshay version I heard in another mix. What is that really haunting flute section from? It plays at 5 mins. I recognise it. Is it from a famous dub song? I used to go to a lot of dub nights. But i'm afraid I was very very drunk.
Yeah, I grew up with him. He taught me to mix. Arguably his mixing was better than dan, but Dan can chop a tune like no other! Good time man!! There are so so many tunes they have that were never finished or never released , some bukem never even played.
True.. It's deep as.. Could do with some good hearted people to chill with with tunes like this so from where I am to you, I hope you have a good one, And big up anyone who is feeling this too (which, to the younger generation, maybe needs pointed out it is not as insulting as it maybe sounds!:) So deep and touching this track.. Masterpiece.. would love a copy of it on vinyl, could blend for days with it
I was listening to LTJ Bukem in 90´s and than forgot on him totally. Now 2020 and i am like - How the hell i can forgot? The roots of liquid DNB in my opinion. Pure jungle sound.
Timeless music, this is something which never gets old. Even after 50 years this would be still fresh :) Its because the vibe is not bounded by time. At least till the track's end.. :D
Mate, you're not kidding. I've been hearing mixes of late (Bukem no exception) where tunes are being mixed out after minute and a half, or two mins max. What???
Your post reminded me of many wide eyed nights at Elevation n many many other banging nights with friends and meeting new friends!! Untouchable generation only those who were there know the score
You are welcome, glad you got through 👍 These sounds are good for productivity if you just listen and get on with it, if the drums are too much put on low volume or change the EQ, the atmosphere they create is one I can focus in without train of thoughts being disrupted as the sounds are transitional, just like progress
I would legit spend the damn money and buy this track if I knew the name and where to download it from. It's that good. One of Bukem's best. Though I leave the number 1 spot for Mixmag Vol. 3/21.
