Hello, I use this system at work. We were using Internet explorer at 1st and it was no issues with fast forward or rewind?(just x4 spped only). However our place no longer supports internet Explorer and we are force to use Microsoft edge now. This created an issue. We no longer have the option to fast forward or rewind. We can only select the time and see it in regular motion? Also tried Chrome but is the same thing. Any suggestions?
You can install an extension on the Chrome browser. Just search IE chrome extension. With that extension enabled Chrome will work like Internet explorer for the most part.
My video playback just stopped working on all 4 cameras of our LTS system 2 days ago. The live views are all working. Any idea what I can check on the system or the app to troubleshoot?
Most commonly the problem is that you have lost your hard drive. If it fails then you will have to recorded footage to see and therefore you won't get any playback. Its a common issue with hard drives on surveillance systems. Because they are writing 24hrs a day they get worn out. Usually they last around 4-5 yrs.
That's great news! That could also be an indication that your hard drive is failing and you might want to consider replacing it. Hard drives are pretty cheap and easy to install.
If you have missing blocks on the timeline then your recording is set to event-based recording where it only records on some sort of triggered event, usually motion. If you have it set to record continuously, there will be a continuous blue bar.
