@@alejandrorabang5083 this is doable actually, if you have bodyguards and command them to use ambush and fire attack skill. And your Guan Yu is level 150 😅
He is strongest warrior of three kingdoms area, strongest warror of china history would be either xiang yu (the overlord of western chu kingdom), who in his life win any battle he fought both all-out and solo (till he got gang up by all enemies from all side and force to suicide) or li cun xiao (a general in late tang dynasty), undefeated in combat and war, die only by being accused of betray by his lord, to the point there is a quote by china historian: “no lord above xiang, no general above li”
Oh, nice info. Thanks dude. But Lü Bu is indeed one of the best specimen of a human can be, morality aside. Xiang Yu maxxed his Martial Prowess, probably if they were in the same era, he would outclassed Lü Bu. But ... In my defense Lü Bu is higher in stats point overall compared to Xiang Yu. He is not your Jack of All Trades, he is minimum Queen if not King of All Trades. Xiang Yu, AFAIK, his main selling point is His Martial Arts stuff. He is the one that fits more of "Has Brawn but not the brain" compared to Lü Bu. Hmm, I never heard of Li Cun Xiao guy, perhaps I will look to it later. What about Yue Fei? I still think he is also one of the best generals there in China.
I remember not allowing to pick him back in the golden dynasty warrior games. Used to play with my cousins and it was not allowed to pick him in 1v1 duels LOL. He was just to much. At least this legendary warrior never lost a war !
Same. IMHO, Ravages of Time Lü Bu made more sense. I mean, if he was indeed that idiot, anyone with enough brain would just arrow showered him for being an easily aggravated berserker, just like what Guo Jia did in Ravages of Time. But no, he almost never got caught that bad, before the better players in war came, even then he is still so powerful, he is indeed one of the best specimen of what human can be, morality aside. Like, okay, his stats is not all max, but if you count point wise, he has enormous points spread all across the character matrix board. Like, if everyone got 500 points to allocate to skills, proficiency, status and everything. Dude got at least double that amount. True, maybe he mostly maxed Martial Arts Skills, yet he is still the best all rounder. 8 Genius (9, if you count Sima Yi too), outclassed him in brain. Ma Chao, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, etc, rivals him in Martial Process, though I still think Lü Bu is indeed still stronger than all of them in duel. I mean once he got Chen Gong to be the brain, he kicked the warriors of Cao Cao easily, and Zhao Yun (Liao Yuan Huo) can only win (not sure, since the fight was cut short, and Lü Bu is not interested in a fight that will render him unable to fight for the next battle, a conservative, if you would), after ranking up his/their martial prowess, by ganging up on Lü Bu. He is not the unbeatable super master in one aspect like Zhuge Liang, minimum Ace , if not Emperor or Overlord level of a Strategist, but one thing for sure, Lü Bu, he is not your Jack of All Trades . At the very least he is Your Queen if not King of All Trades. Even then he is indeed a minimum Ace if not Emperor level in Martial Arts, not Overlord, if he was Overlord level in Martial Arts, dude would just Swallow Reversal (Sasaki Kojiro Fate Series, Physics Breaking Sword skill) the 3 Brothers using his Halberd, dude would be truly unbeatable if he broke the physics law, or anything common in Martial Arts term in that era. Add all of them to Lü Bu's Han Xin willing to grovel to get another chance, he is too OP and he knew it, such OP Character Matrix should not had his gameplay ended abruptly, but yeah, the will of Heaven (or the will of everyone that feared his treacherous ways come back to haunt him). One of the aspects that I liked about Ravages of Time, the clash of Ideal and Reality.
Shuumatsu no Valkyrie (Records of Ragnarok) is a good manga if you want to read. It’s about a tournament held between the gods and humanity and depending on the outcome, humanity either goes extinct or is saved for another 1000 year time period. Watch Thor vs Lu Bu by amiasD on yt, it’s a good manga music video for the fights
You know since the video game dw3, lubu makes it seem like he defeated yuan shu like nothing. But much later I realized that yuan shu was technically the reason he ended up beheaded. Yuan shu actually convinced lubu to betray liu bei, which later cao Cao beheaded lubu becuse liu bei told him what he did. But actually it was yuan shu’s doing 😂
Xiang Yu was a general who almost succeeded in taking over China. Lu Bu was mostly known for his raw strength and constant betrayal to anyone he allied with.
@@WatcherMovie008 not only took over china but Xiang Yu's raw strenght can lift bronze cauldron weighted 700kg with one hand... and under his leadership, the 20.000 soldiers of western Chu decimated 200.000 Qin's army in 9 skirmishes in single day
They wrote him to be the strongest like a boss battle so that his demise would be poetic cause it was all due to his poor character, lack of virtue and honor.
@@yato1633 in the fate series there's a thing called the holy grail war Where mages summon heroic servants based off of historical and mythical legends like Alexander the great, king Arthur, jack the ripper ect They are split into different classes like saber, lancer, rider (which red hare himself is) assassin, caster and beserker
I killed him in almost every Dynasty Warriors on Chaos AFTER killing Diao Chan first. There was one of the Dynasty Warriors where was completely immune to death and dieing so the only time I had to run which was unfortunate.
Working on plat for dw8 xtremem legends. Ultimate difficulty is a death sentence on Hu Lao gate... taking out Diaochan is a death sentence. If you max defense and defense boost you might take 1 hit without dying.
For fans of Lu Bu who are passing by in 2021, there's a really awesome Korean manhwa called "History of the Three States" It's a story about Lu Bu who went back in time after dying at the hands of Cao Cao. He chooses to live his life differently with the knowledge of what happened in his previous life. He completely changes history and it's really cool to see.
@@stephanusjoseph As I remember, according to Records of Three Kingdom, an official history document written by Chen Shou (historian in 3rd century in China), Lu Bu did have a duel with the three brothers at once, and he withdrawned just because he affraided that while in fighting, he cannot command his troop properly. So, Lu Bu actually has a formidable strength and he is a extreme dangerous enemy in battlefield. Plus, he is execellent in tactical command and calvary usage and he had the best calvary army in whole China at that time (although he has poor strategy vision). Because of that, his enemy had never choose a head-on engagement tactic against him.
@@stephanusjoseph Tbh it could all be fictional because most of the historical events doesnt have proofs. So basically a guy could talk about himself as a great leader (aka like zhuge liang) and we took those words as real because its too old and after 3k period china got invaded a lot of times and a lot of records were also destroyed by japanese and mongols. So arguing about if it is fictional or not is not important at that point.
@@megamen7353 except there is records of the three kingdom where designated Chinese officials keep track of events and record each notable person biography (they work for the emperor and its literally their sole job to fact check and compile all the records and they come from a long line of school dedicated to the art) and there is Romance of the Three Kingdom, a fictional historical novel wrote as an entertainment piece almost 400 years later. Even in wikipedia there's two sections one their biography as written in the historical record and them as characters in the novel. Those discrepancy between novel and record is added flavor for the novel including the duel between the three brothers and lv bu
Thanks. Just checked him out in it. Really awesome character design. We actually made a video on Ragnarok last week. Here's a link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ciV3KC0Up_U.html We'll definitely do more on the Norse mythology soon. Valkyries are awesome.
Woah the fact that we know so many details about this time and life says a lot of how eager the chinese were writing everything down. Great respect for that!
yeah it's great. the earliest Chinese dynasty Qing came out on top of a like sixteen way war during warring kingdom period by promoting literacy so Chinese since then had really good record keeping.
One of the main aspects of what made him a legend I think is missing from this video: The battle of Hu Lao gate, where in legend he fought Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei all at once and held them off for a while. The former was written about in San Guo Yanyi (Romance of the 3 Kingdoms), but I believe in the historical record (San Guo Ze) it's slightly different. In history, I believe Sun Jian fought him to a draw, but at the time I believe Sun Jian was actually considered one of the greatest warriors of that era. So it actually showed how great both men were in battle/duels. Other than that, everything was very good. Oh and I think at the end where you said that Lu Bu and his allies all were hanged, that's not entirely true. Zhang Liao was spared because he scolded Lu Bu for begging for his life. He said that warriors should die with dignity and so Cao Cao saw that there was honor and dignity, so he asked him to serve under the Wei banner. And eventually he becomes one of the 5 elite pillar generals for Cao Cao.
Imagine travelling back through time telling Lu Bu he is going to be known throughout the history and he will become ome of the greatest gaming icon of all time
So remember folks 2 rules you should always follow! Rule 1- Don't pursue lu Bu And Rule 2- Don't attack Diao chan at any point unless your max level bit even then if your playing on the highest difficulty you do this at your peril.
Oh the memories from the dynasty series. I'm happy to replay the game starting with Dynasty Warriors 2. So far each character managed to beat Lu Bu, but definitely had to use strategic retreat.
Lu Bu is not the strongest general in China, he is the strongest general in the Three Kingdoms period. The strongest military general in Chinese history is Xiang Yu, and the strongest god of war in mythology is Xing Tian
@@MythStoriesAnimatedLegends Not really if I'm being honest, as he, Zhang Fei, and Liu Bei weren't ever my cup of tea. I'm actually much more of a fan of Sun Quan, Gan Ning, etc. Frankly, that entire bunch always struck my fancy more than Guan Yu and them did.
@@MythStoriesAnimatedLegends That I am! Zhou Tai, an interesting fellow, the warrior of many scars! He's one of my favorite. Huang Gai? RTK I did find his part in the Battle of Red Cliffs. Personally, I'd have to say Sun Jian ranks towards the top, it'd been interesting to see what he could do if he had the chance.
She said at 1:20 "city of Baotou in inner Mongolia, China". I am like Mongolia is a country & how could inner Mongolia belong to China? If the city belong to China why bother to said inner Mongolia since it meant the city is inside Mongolia 🤔
I like that this video used the Dynasty Warriors characters. I've actually read Three Kingdoms because of playing the games, but the Dynasty Warriors depictions - despite being totally romanticized - are still how I visualize the characters. Man, there's an awful LOT of beheadings in that book, but the bit that still haunts me is some poor messenger guy who gets totally disfigured (nose and ears cut off) just because some lord didn't like the message he brought. It was just one of many "shoot the messenger" scenes, but that one was particularly sadistic. Seriously, if you ever fall through a time-warp into China circa 200AD, *don't* take a job as a messenger.
@@TheBronf I guess the fire will do it, otherwise there's not enough time in the match to combo juggle him to death. I can only imagine how long it'd take 😄
