Lubbock and the panhandle don't get much love for the music industry, i got to say thank you so much for this, farming is a great part of my life and i got to say thanks for taking about the farmers. Much love from dimmitt tx and the panhandle.
I grew up in Dumas, TX. I’ve been living in the RGV and FW for the last 2+ years. I’ve missed the panhandle. I love going to these areas and knowing how much the people there love singers like Kevin Fowler and Aaron Watson. Gives me a chance to brag about the place that made me. The Texas panhandle. 💪🏼
I’m a Longhorn fan from Dumas, TX… just a few hrs north of Lubbock. But man, what a great song. I’m close enough to Lubbock to know exactly what he’s singing about. Lubbock should be proud….
As a Ft. Worth native who moved to Lubbock, I lived less than a mile from the spot this was recorded. I now live a block away from Amusement Park Studio. Life is crazy.
Absolutely true. I moved from Lubbock to Midland. When my out of state friends ask where Midland is, I say about 2hrs south of Lubbock. 😂 they still don’t know. Then I have to remind them of Buddy Holly, then they’re like. Ohhhhhhh ok!
Always see talk about the non-Nashville bands about them deserving more recognition. Do they really want the recognition? They’re killing it in their own light whether or not they’re a household name.
Grady Manker. What they are saying is that they are better than any Nashville bands and that they have more talents and should be more popular and have more fame and money
