fun fact about certain cat breeds: Only kittens tend to meow at eachother or to their mother cat, and as they get older they tend to stop unles their super vocal. So when your cat starts meowing at you it saying "I'm baby" and needs you for something\wants attention. Thats why they meow when you lock them out of your room or their hungry, because little baby needs help.

our cat is a year old & she's not really vocal. so when im just in my room and not eating, she comes up the bed & meows at me like she's telling me to get up & take care of myself. also when shes roaming around the house & she sees that the door to our room is closed (she sleeps in my room) she immediately meows to be let inside.
