I have been a huge fan of Boogie Woogie piano since I bought 78's of Pine Top Smith, Art Ammons, Meade Lux Lewis in 1955, and I have listened to hundreds of players since that time, and I believe Luca Sestak is the best. I remember listening to his left hand when he was a young teen and it was exhilarating and spot on the beat. His move into blues was to be expected and it is equally brilliant. Luca is THE Boogie Man.
I liked the happy presentation of the younger Luca. He seems so down in the mouth now. I have his first CD and LOVE it! The skill is there, but the spirit seem different.
Best solist, wrong audience. ;-) You doesn´t deserve those boring people, Luca. Gooooo, feel the rhythm, will see you in Berlin in June - so amazing. :-)

Chris Thompson that’s true. I played an improv around this piece and I didn’t even know Roosevelt Sykes created the tune. I thought it was Vince Weber.
