It is shown that the gain of this op amp circuit is simply related to the famous Golden ratio and is sqrt(5). The Lucas Sequence has the remarkable property that the ratio of the two consecutive Lucas numbers converge to the Golden ratio of 0.5*(1+sqrt(5)). A combination of virtual short of operational amplifier and Circuit laws are applied to analyze this circuit.
