Now that Lucas is walking, the girls are going to have so much fun with him. My son is 6 years older than my daughter, he made a big deal over every milestone. He crawled with her, he walked with her, he taught her to jump. He taught her to swim, ride her bike. He loved having a little sister he could teach. They are 23 and 17 now and still have a wonderful relationship. They enjoy the same interests and he actually invites her to do things with him and his friends. They treat her as a little sister also. I feel the same will be with your kids. They seem to really love and enjoy the time together.

My daughter would read all the time. She was reading chapter books at 3/4 yrs old. When I went for my associates, she was 4, while I was cooking dinner, she would read out loud out of my text books. By middle school her tested reading comprehension level was college. She didn’t like watching TV, gaming, like most kids, she was the happiest with a book in hand, reading. Trying to get her to stop for ANYTHING was a fight.

So glad you caught the strep before it got too bad. I used to hate going through my kids clothes. I would be sad that they were growing out of things. Now I am sad that they are all teenagers now and have grown out of the kids section! I have to buy their clothes in the men's section. Way to go, Lucas!!! Such a big milestone! My son walked fully at 6months...running by 7months...no weeble wobbling BUT he hated shoes...it took many months afterwards before he would even try them which was inconvenient for us since he begged to go down and walk but wouldn't wear shoes haha 😂😂 we started him in those soft little booties you can get kidds with the rubber bottom kind of...and after that he was fine!

Hi Jess, glad you are feeling better. I don't know if you saw my last comment post, but I think you should do some research into endometriosis and look for images of endometriosis belly. It seems to cover a lot of your symptoms and I think you should push to be tested for it. Good luck

I'd like to hear more about the girl's classes. It's so good to hear you say Micah loves to read. That's the best way to learn. Are either of you volunteering in the school this year? I know Paige is in a pre-school type of setting but what sort of actual learning do they do? Is it just play based, or do they have structured sit and listen activities as well? (retired 1st gr. teacher so I like to know). Lucas is doing so well with walking. Thanks for sharing his first steps. He seemed to get tired of going to Mama and then Daddy then Mama, but he did so well. He's a cutie!
