Lucas Raymond, JT Compher, and Derek Lalonde speak with the media following Detroit's 5-4 emotional win against the Montreal Canadiens at Little Caesars Arena on April 15, 2024.
Best game I’ve gone to this season. So much energy from both the team and fans. A great win for the last home game this season. Need a great win tomorrow. Hoping Torts wins tomorrow as well
My brother is a flyers fan. The conversations we have had throughout the year the heartbreak we both can't make it to the fact they can help us make it. Hoping for the best.
Was at the game tonight as well and was definitely the loudest game I’ve ever been to at Little Caesars. So Awesome! I think we can earn the win and we deserve a little luck. This team deserves to play in the playoffs. LGRW
To all the LGRW communtiy. We are 1 day away from something special. Shoulda coulda woulda its been one of the best LGRW seasons in a long time. Thanks for the ride.
@@jimjohnson9808 Do not forget we still have hope if we lose in overtime or Shootout. But that means WSH and PIT all need to lose no matter what. But WSH in particular needs to lose in REG.
Raymond' been clutch these last few weeks, and proved it again last night. He'll be awesome in the playoffs where you need tough goals in tight low scoring games to win.
I heard it for the first time in the Joe. I heard it again last night with the game winning goal. It's the sound of unity. Every voice in the entire building ,as loud as humanly possible. I believe it was that team from Denver. Vernon squared off with some goalie that traded from Montreal. Oh by the way we caused that to happen too. Lol . Good job boys! We are headed in the right direction. Ain't hockey grand?
Completely recognize that Compher isn't an extremely high point player but this guy just grinds and grinds and has such a great competitive head on his shoulders. Keep going Wings, may or may not make it in but they've shown push and some heart these last few games. Go get it!
This is the first year since 2017-2018, minus the 2020-2021 season (44 games) that Larks may not end the season as the top points getter at the end of the season. Way to get hot at the end of the season and to help carry the team to be able to have a chance to get into the playoffs. Keep it going Raymond!!!! LFGRW!!!!
We don't necessarily have to win. I think we can get away with 1 point, assuming Philly beats the Caps and the Penguins get no more than 1 point in their final game vs the Islanders. But the Flyers definitely need to beat the Caps either way. Let's keep our fingers crossed! Plus getting the win in the final game will certainly feel better either way.
@@julienalexander6113 yeah I think they either A. Said let's rest up and not worry about this game and go into Ottawa where it'll be easier to get our 2 points to clich the division B. We want Toronto cause they're gonna lose round 1 so Panthers please pass us
Good win! Did this team skate differently tonight? These guys broke the system and played their game. This coach doesn't have a clue. Good game boyz you earned this one.
Tomorrow we cannot play like we did tonight and expect to win. I thought we played one really good period and that was the 3rd and of course OT. A win tomorrow and hopefully Philly will win in either regulation or in OT and we are in. The boys were gripping their sticks a bit too tight.
@@ggary04i had a feeling it would happen. Worst thing about having your fate in other teams. Lol now we gotta rely on Philly to beat em. If Detroit get a win here tomorrow.
Im connecting losing Larkin at the start of December (5-9-1) and March (3-9-2) as without larkin were a bottom team along the lines of sj chi and ana but with larkin we are an elite team that without those 2 months went 32-14-6 (67.3 point% which over 82 games would be 110 points 1st in Atlantic) this isnt me saying larkin is a hockey god but more so that hes a great captain that makes the team work for it
This is the stupidest thing i have ever read…. Bro? 🤣. They’re not as bad as chicago san jose without Larkin. The month of December they had 6 players out along with Dylan. March yea Larkin was out, that’s a bit better representation of just how important he is in the lineup. But also they were getting hit hsrd with a flu sickness.
No one has mentioned that hit from behind on Raymond at the other end of the Ice, before Montreal scored their fourth goal! 🤬 That should’ve been a penalty and that 4th goal NEVER should have ever happened! Does a player have to get paralyzed from a hit from behind now, before the stupid refs start calling them again?!! 😡🤬 The officiating was absolutely atrocious tonight!! So glad we had what it took to win it and not taking anything away from Raymond not getting hurt or taken off his game after that. But that was such a HORRIBLE missed or flat out non-call from the ref who was again, looking right at it! Screw the refs again!! 😤🤬🤬
