She's a great interviewer - well-researched and really understands his energy. He's so quiet and thoughtful and subtly mesmerizing, and she was able to draw so much out of him. Just saw The Great Comet yesterday and Lucas was absolutely amazing. It's so nice to see this side of him as a creative.
Lucas is a consummate artist and so beautifully modest about his talent. At the same time, he is able to breakdown the show in a very meaningful way and tosses it off as being easy and natural. He's an actor who is totally aware of the objectives of the musical-play not just for himself but the entire cast. Bright guy, laid-back and committed to storytelling He'll make an excellent director some day.
I’m back because of nostalgia with Emojiland. I can’t believe we’re all skipping over the fact he was COMPOSING pieces at 5 years old. What the fuck Lucas Steele??
