Should I be concerned that I like Lucas the Spider even though I'm 33? Knowing that little kids are voicing the cartoon characters makes it all so cute
6:00 I remember that something similar happened with my stepmom. She’d just finished baking an apple pie, only for our pet boxer to leap up to the counter and start eating it the moment Stepmom looked away. She was grounded from entering the kitchen for a pretty long time.
The guy who uploaded this episode is not the guy who makes them. On top of that, this is the only episode that was free to watch on the Cartoon Network website, so if he uploaded more episodes, he would be at a greater risk of getting copyright claimed. There are more episodes you can watch on Cartoonito.
I Have Some Questions: 1. Is There Is Going To Be A Season 2? 2. If There Will Be A Season 2, Then Could It Have New Characters And Maybe New Locations? 3. Out Of All The Content We’ve Seen In The Show, I’ve Only Had One Question That Remains: Who Is The Owner Of The House?
@@marcoangeloaspera3953He probably screen recorded it from when it was on the Cartoon Network website, because fun fact: the show has been removed from the website and HBO Max. (I know that fact isn’t really fun, but I still felt like saying it for dramatic effect.)
Findley never actually said that his name was bzzz, Lucas just interpreted it the wrong way in that old short. And the blinking was something that was only added in the Cartoonito show, and I think it was to make the character more expressive.
If you’re looking for a mouse, look at Arlo’s best friend Wimble! As for a cat, well, I think there was a picture of one in one episode before, probably the one with Webra in it.
Tbh this show would get a 9/10, Lucas was just a spider alone doing fun things in a house, now look at him, and the fly dude got a name finally, the one flaw thing is that they don’t really fit lucas’s desgin, except the fly, like they got a whole new art style also the fact that all the characters are voiced by children makes this even better also the line ‘mommy and daddy weren’t happy’ makes me question so many things, is the mom and dad the dog owners or just 2 older dogs which one his a boy and the other is a girl, overall though this show is not bad, I am a fan of Lucas ever since the Halloween episode, I hope the creator of Lucas the spider is proud of himself
I think Avocado was referring to the people who adopted her as a pet when she said that mommy and daddy weren’t happy. Though, it does make me wonder how exactly humans work in this universe. Also, side note: Avocado’s introduction retcons the existence of the “polar bear”.
There’s also a realistic bird, a few cheeky ants, Kevin and Irene who are toys, and there’s Crumby the Vaccum Cleaner, just to name a few side characters. Some characters who are mentioned but never seen as of now are Arlo’s mom and Avocado’s mommy and daddy (who are most likely the humans who adopted Avocado).
There’s also a skunk now, and a human hand was visible in one episode. Maizie also has three hundred thirty twelve cousins, one of which is named Abby, who is deaf and communicates using dance. Dimples also said “Mommy and Daddy” in an episode, so does that make Avocado Dimples’s sister? More importantly, are Dimples and Weebiscuit brothers now? Oh, and Jennifer is another toy that looks like a chick.
If this really is the first episode of the show, then I have to say that based on the dialogue and how we see all of the characters interacting with each other, it’s honestly not half bad. Lucas and the others keep their individual personalities intact for the most part, and I like how it’s not overly preachy with its themes. One thing that surprised me the most is that they used the realistic bird during the scene where it was stealing the cookies. Like, I’m surprised they didn’t use Arlo the Owl for that scene. (Then again, owls are nocturnal, so I suppose it makes sense.) I do appreciate that the show is still keeping some sense of realism. One thing I will say I don’t like, which is kind of a contrivance within the lore of Lucas the Spider, is the dog character, Avocado. I have to ask, why does this character exist in this universe? Oh no, it’s not because I don’t like her, I think she’s an okay character, don’t get me wrong. I can even overlook the fact that she looks like a Paw Patrol character. The reason I don’t think this character makes sense is because didn’t Lucas not know what a dog was before? Didn’t he think that dogs were polar bears? So why is he now taking to Avocado as if he knows what a dog is? It doesn’t help either that Avocado is an animated dog instead of a realistic one, like the “polar bear”. It creates a plot hole within the Lucas the Spider universe, and I feel like it would of been more believable if Avocado was maybe a hamster or a rabbit instead of a dog. (I mean, unless they come up with something in the show that explains this whole thing?) So yeah, overall, many cute moments with Lucas and Findley, and pretty enjoyable overall!
@@akapple2698 Ikr. Also, another thing that confuses me is the part where Avocado says that “mommy and daddy weren’t happy”. Who is she referring to, exactly? Is she talking about her dog parents or is she talking about the humans who adopted her? Because humans do exist in this universe, right? Speaking of which, how do humans even work in this world? Because in other episodes of the show, we’ve seen the characters interacting with man-made materials and contraptions, but we have yet to see a human in the show.
