Yes; why not ? Women for modesty sake , felt the societal pressure to not look promiscuous, didn't wear tights or pants as an outerwear garment; they most like wore these protective leg covering under their skirts and dresses; who else would know ? There was mostly a gender defined wardrobe between the sexes but it was the female who historically cross-fashion gender barrier piece meal until the early 1960's and females kicked the whole " fashion wall " down not the males. They blurred the fashion gender line and they call it " androgenous fashion; females gained the whole of historical male fashion and automatically reduced to a fraction of menswear styles that was previously available to males only. I think females should wear menswear or their feminized versions if it has a athletic or warmth purpose otherwise they should refrain from now exclusively wearing menswear type clothing 24 / 7. The sleekest menswear because only femeale wear almost overnight and heterosexual just accepted their loss of fashion freedom caused by leftist politics.

Only tuck your pants in so you don’t get mud on your pants however if your working (riding horses,roping,working cows diggin holes etc. you want your pants over your boots no one likes mud or dirt inside the boots.
