It is now clear. To align the universe into a system of order and meaning a Jeff Nichols Southern Noir film or series is required.

We worked on this video! It was filmed in Memphis, TN. One of our most favorite projects that we've been a part of. It was a fantastic and inspiring experience.

Michael Shannon, Scoot McNairy, Garrett Hedlund and Jeff Nichols together? Fantastic. Had a Hell of High Water kind of vibe to it.

Patiently waiting for the full cinematic release of this story.

Man, jeff's direction of being able to make the audience so anxious and hopeful at the same time....

How tf has this had so little views? I've been watching since I've been like 16 (oldest) I'm now 24. You guys have got me through some horrendous nights.

It seems to me the beginning scene is the last shot, it has the same sound of the car driving off. And he is driving in the same direction as he approached his brothers. I believe he helped them and led the cops away, as you can see in the opening when he quickly looks into the rear view mirror, he is possibly looking at cops on his tale. As Bruce Springsteen said "Man turns his back on his family, he ain't no good."

This is my favorite band with my all time favorite actors, from Narcos, Waco, FNL, and so on. What an awesome collab.

Just to add onto my previous comment... I'm actually directing a short film with "Back To The Night" as the music for it, and inspiration behind the story in the film, one character being the man who speaks in that song. I've been so inspired by your music, Lucero. While I do produce videos for RU-vid, usually they don't contain copyrighted music so that I can monetize my creations, however, this one I know I will not be able to monetize, that's how inspired I am by your music; I don't care about the money for my time and effort to film and edit this piece, I just want to do it because the song is so deep. I guess all I can say is, thank you for inspiring a small, amateur film maker to create great things.

I just found this while looking for news on Jeff Nichols next movies! Awesome! I liked it! I like how he often uses the same actors. The guy in the beginning was in Mud and Midnight special and obviously Shannon has been in everything since shotgun stories. The song was good too.

So what do you think of the ending? I'm thinking Shanon's character was a cop and had his gun out so they'd stay put till the other cops came. Not quite sure. His blue shirt could pass for an officer's shirt, untucked and badge-less and that car says cop too. What was your take? Anyway I miss Jeff Nichols. Huge fan.
