Yeah there is, the stats of sets are sometimes different. You can check the stats yourself but id recommend searching the grayravens website, it shows the optimal positioning.
Cottie has 135 attack on the bottom row whereas Diesel has 132. So technically Cottie bottom row is better, but only by a measly 6 attack. Whether you care enough to min max like that is up to you. I just put all my 2 pieces top row for when i need to swap them.
@@secondtest1454for CW case, I think it's better to put the 2 memory on bottom, since all of her possible memory are having a higher atk stat than Diesel (Cottie, Frederick, Heisen)...

If I'm not planning on going competitive, is it okay to skip Feral Scent and save the BC for the next 100% rate up banner for previous units (Hyperreal or Stigmata)?
I'm not sure why you would want to do that since the next rate up banner isn't until... I think 2 or 3 patches after 21. That, plus the next S rank after 21 is farmable for free in the dorm like Ayla was so you don't need to hold onto extra black cards. There's no reason to skip 21.
@@jackmanleblanc2518 I'm a new player I don't have any DPS character other than Lucia Lotus so wouldn't it make more sense to try and get DPS units for elements I don't have?
@@liyan00 It absolutely would not make sense. Crimson Weave is stupid broken overpowered. She's so far and away better than what you have it's not even funny. Since you're new like me you can use your S-rank selectors to pick who you need like I did. For the dark team you can easily make do with an A-rank team of Watanabe, no. 21, and Vera Rozen. Since you can select which A rank to target on the normal banner you'll be fine there. You can farm Ayla Kaleido for free in the dorms so she can serve as your main ice damage dealer for a while. Liv Empyrea you can pick for fire with the new S-rank selector we get in Crimson Weave's patch. There's no reason not to get Crimson Weave. She's broken and looks like a ton of fun to play. You can fill out your other teams as you go on, especially since you don't care about being competitive. There's no rush to get main DPS for other elements right away.
@@jackmanleblanc2518 What? I'm 100% getting Crimson Weave (hopefully SS and signature weapon). My *original question* was about Feral Scent and whether it was okay to skip her since I already have Liv Lux and plan to get Vera Garnet from the selector. I got lucky and obtained Empyrea from the basic banner and almost have Kaleido who I'll pair with Qu. Also, since I plan to get Lamia and am working on getting either SSS Vera Rozen or S Selena Capriccio, would that not mean it makes more sense to go for Hyperreal or Stigmata instead of Feral Scent?
Do I need 6* weapon for Vera? I have SS CW with her sig weapon, but I don't have Garnet yet. So I'm planning to obtain her from the free selector and SS her using the skulls I have. What I'm curious about is if Garnet needs her sig weapon even tho she's just a QTE bot, even until her leap arrives in global. Please help. Thank you.
I find myself going into another plunge attack while the ult is ready, or just wasting some time before i ult , is the signature resonance that much better at SSS than +15att , cuz sometimes i feel like i'm wasting time not ulting as soon as it's up.
Someone said 4 pieces Guinevere and 2 Piece Davinci is better to use on this team than 4 piece Vinci due to the number of times you can use it. Which is better?
One thing to note for whoever is gonna watch this incredible guide: iirc Vera Garnet will be a part of the upcoming S Rank selector through one of the events next patch if you’re wanting to get her for this team.
On units I enjoy the design of, I like to invest a bit more than usual… but when it’s put like “you’ll get 2 seconds off your rotation for the price of 15k bc” I think ima pass on SS3 dawg.
Great guide! But I was very decided to go for her SS3, now after you saying it’s not that necessary it makes me hesitate xD I don’t often get SS3 since I’m a monthly pass only player Maybe I should save extra BC for another character’s SS3?

When Global server first released, the dev decided to change Adolf design into Cottie, since they're afraid because Adolf is using "that" name, especially since one of her memory artwork is shown her pointing her gun on her head while crying... That's why, only Global server that use Cottie as the design for signature move memory, while the other server (CN, TW, JP, KR) use the original design which is Adolf...
hello mr fury I accidentally pulled for ayla and now I don't have any BC left..I would be able to get alpha during July from the selector standard banner..but during this time would it hurt me so bad? I know CW is a one woman army..
I would definitely say that you can change your team guide for her. Lux is never worth going, you're better off the Free Selena Capriccio or Liv: Empyrea as the amplifier is better than mono electric. So using that is just ultimately so much better from all the research the mains have done
Elemental units only really benefit damage wise from the bottom 3 rows… HOWEVER, now that infinitas awakening is a thing, you’ll get 1% damage PER hypertune if you have a fully hypertuned character stationed to the respective slot. That means, it’s no longer useless to invest in 12 hypertunes for elemental characters.
21 got updated recently and now swap gameplay is better in cn. So u need 1 yeat to be abled to use swapgameplay without losing dps. He already said in video that 21 need updated gameplay. Btw there was so much complain at 21 release that she was weak
@@Nadeem19000 wait when did no.21 get buffed can you tell me?. Alss no.21 wasn't weak Alpha was just sooo strong. Infact no.21 is the highest dmg dealing Amp in the game.
Guys , i still dont understand why we want to use her second ultimate. Like wont it be better to just stay in longsword stance for more dmg and air combo?
@@PonceGT1 if it's that way, it's better to get Empyrea first, since you still need Empyrea as the second dps/main dps of your fire team (the role depends if you Hyperreal or not)... For Garnet, you can just choose her from the selector on basic banner on Lamia patch later...
I've seen you changed Matrix Lightning to Incandescence, was there a reason or Incandescence was more useful than Matrix lightning since her damage isn't inside matrix
Do u know when this character appear in global this Feb. I have 11k BC and pity 50 in banner character, is it worth having her cub and sig weapon :) . Am newbie 🤧
