I wonder how many non-Lucid owners noticed that you were getting 166kW from a 150kW charger. That's thanks to the 900 Volt batteries in the Air. I have gotten well over 300kW on the faster chargers. Love my Air GT. Even after driving it for two trouble-free years I can't walk away without turning back just to look at it. I've driven it for many happy miles over many states. I too want a test drive of the RWD Pure base model. The Savage Geese guys had a lot of fun with it, saying that RWD dynamic really stands out. At half the price of a GTP it is quite a deal.
I'm an Air GT owner, and this was a good honest review. I didn't know about the double tap to turn the pilot screen off, thanks for the tip! I personally have been looking into a way to make the hidden space behind the pilot screen house some wireless charging stations, but running power to this area seems to be impossible. The next time my service tech is out to see me, I will ask if he knows of any openings I can expoit for this purpose.
I love the cinematic shots of the Lucid! I'd love to see more videos of just cinematic shots of the Lucid. How does one get this car by themselves for more than 15 minutes? I've test drove a Lucid Air Pure and they only let me drive it for 15 minutes with a representative. I'd love to test drive the car for more than 15 minutes by myself! A shame the car is super expensive. I wish it was more affordable. I'm sure it'd help their stock at least. This is my Dream Car and I hope to own a Lucid Air Pure one day. You also forgot they had the Lucid Air Dream Edition that was limited and had a golden like color. Every time I watch these review videos, I learn at least one new thing about this amazing car! There are a few things I don't like, the steering wheel being one of them. (Hopefully they change that) and the fact that you have to press a button to turn on the windshield wipers. I also don't know if this has been fixed, but I'd like to have maps out and music on another screen... but last I checked, you couldn't do that. Question: Does the ambient lighting color setting only coming with a Touring and up or is it in all models, including the Pure?
@@xtype2006 I'll believe that when we start seeing customer reviews and customer videos who actually own these. Plaid owners started posting youtube videos within hours of actual deliveries. I haven't seen a single Sapphire video yet that wasn't a review by someone Lucid handed a review car to.
@sorka95032 You are comparing a global brand to Lucid who is still new and small with no where near the level of reach and deliveries of the “plaid”. relax they are coming.
@Allcarnews I'm sure they are.....some day. When the msp started deliveries, it was in the US only at first for nearly a year. Videos from owners started showing up day 1. Heck, the cybertruck has had a dozen or so delivered and owner reviews started showing up in hours.
What is Lucid going to do down the road? Not much as they’re losing $$$ hand over fist and sales have tanked. You don’t even see them on the road. Don’t believe me, look at their stock price.
