Spectators will suspect the bag is gimmicked, whether they say it or not.

@@90dayfiance69 Never trust magic trailers. Being on camera puts social pressure on spectators to give strong reactions. Additionally, many spectators either a) don't care enough or b) are too polite to ask to examine your props. That doesn't mean they don't suspect your props gimmicked. To the contrary, every prop you pull out is immediately suspect because you're a magician. The idea you're using "special" props is often assumed, unless you work to actively disprove it.

I've seen a few performances of this, the load of the playing card looks very sus. Now, I have ZERO idea how it's done lol I just think the act of putting the card in the bag looks odd.

That’s easily solved with patter, timing , misdirection.

@14:50 It is examinable? The bag is? All the heat is on that bag. Does it require a switch or stealing something out before the spectator can examine it? If not, that's awesome and I'll be buying it.

If you watch the whole review hee says the card is examinable tut the bag is not.

I’d say 75% of my props are gimmicks, close up, parlour and stage. And I honestly can’t remember the last time someone asked to examine anything.

@@unclejoe7958 I make my living as a magician and this is true of me too.. People don't ask to inspect anything. But it IS a problem for hobbyists who do magic for their friends and family.
