Of all the follower mods I've downloaded, Lucien is by far my favorite. His characterization (and singing!) are just stellar, and I live for his and the dragonborn's friendship lmao
My favorite is xelzaz but Lucien is probably third. Second is without a doubt kaidan. I relate to him somewhat in personality. In real life I am a very aggressive person who sees the world in a black and white view, so I can definitely relate to kaidans disliking of magic users and vampires as it reminds me of my hatred of the street crime organizations and gang members in my hometown of Jacksonville Florida.
@@JosephRussell My absolute favorite is Three Hearts as One, though Coldharbour Compact and Hymm to Kyne are great too. Across the Niben Bar would be fun to hear him sing as well.
I haven't commented in 2 years since the end of Season 1 of the Lucien Dragonborn playthrough as I switched accounts. I love the new songs Lucien can sing, Red Diamond its just behind Detective Lucien (Only OG's remember that song)
How did I miss this notification?! I had to come searching your full upload list for something else, and I'm so glad I found this. As usual, your beautifully voiced rendition puts the Second Era bards to shame imho!
@@JosephRussell I'm a huge fan of Breton culture, lore, and the zones in ESO, Altmer lore is a close second. But based on my love of Greater Bretony, "Battle of Glenumbra Moors" would be my number one. The ESO VA who performs it in the taverns of High Rock does a decent job, but it kinda sounds a bit like a flat recital, I dunno, lol. "Ithguleoir" is based on Breton folklore but is... a bit more gruesome to say the least!
Where's the singing video for "Chug-A-Mug-O-Mead"? I had to pause the game to laugh when we were running from Dragon's Bridge to Solitude and Lucien just started singing it randomly. :)
Yesterday I watched the recording over on Twitch and after that, I listened to this video here on repeat. Today, whilst I was doing my grocery shopping, I couldn't stop humming this song over and over. Currently, I am really into bard songs (of different games) and from time to time the lore does not match up. Not at all. I mean, today I was singing Red Diamond whilst playing Enderal. But to be honest, I put the Enderal songs into my Skyrim. Yes, the voices don't match with the Skyrim bard voices, but I can ignore that.
@@JosephRussell I am a simple man. I run a multie character game. I understand character design. He's read books he's studied magic. He has a opinion on everything because he has read about it. So he comes off as loud and a know it all. He's a sort of law school guy.... Who has to help a suicidal Dragonborn. But let me tell ya. If they character doesn't romance him. It would be awesome for him to settle down somewhere. Like take over Nepos home and get married. That would really make her feel personal. Just like the Dragonborn they find someone on their adventure. Like it would be mad to go to his wedding in Riften. Would make him feel more alive. Because if you don't romance him... Your cutting away alot of a personal story for him. So would be mad to see one develop while you play. Where he ask for advice on dates and lines.... Sneaks off for 2 days. Where he doesn't just go back to felkreath. He goes to a home with his partner.
I'm not cutting away anything, I'm telling the story I want to tell :) and I certainly don't think a character has to have romance to feel alive. I know some wonderful aromantic people who would certainly agree.
