The more I listen to "Monsters" the more I love and hear all the details that went into this song. It's one of those songs that you love more and more and never get tired of (what Courtney song isn't like this). And I keep picking out more details of the production by Kevin (Bowe) and Vocal detailed changes by Courtney the more I hear this. People can just listen and rock out or some will listen and see all the inner workings by both Kevin and Courtney on how they made this sound. I'm both. 😁 Love their chemistry together. The video is in the making and Courtney says she's going to rock it. I believe she said some kind of performance video. If "Monsters" don't get millions of views quickly, I'll be very disappointed in todays listeners. Because Courtney is working so hard at promoting her baby/creation all on her own, that I'm pretty sure it's reaching ever fan who has followed her. Hi Lucie. Great reaction. You got that right. Courtney is amazing. The best thing to happen to music in forever. A true generational level talent and, to many of us, the voice of a lifetime. Courtney has one of the most beautiful and versatile voices in music. She can sing virtually anything and there is never a drop off in the incredible quality of her music. Whether it's Rock, R&B, Funk, Soul or Ballads, her vocals are always exquisite. She even had an opera clip go viral on TikTok. I know you've only heard a couple of Courtney's songs, so you wouldn't know this, but most people think of Courtney first as this incredible stage dominating rocker and only realize later what a gorgeous voice she has across all genres. That's because when she took the world by storm when she appeared on America's Got Talent (AGT) in 2018, she sang exclusively classic rock from the 60's and 70's by the likes of James Brown, Tina Turner and Janis Joplin and blew the roof off of the arena with every performance. These classic artists are her true musical inspirations. Her AGT audition went viral and now has over 1 Billion views. When she went independent at the beginning of this year, her first three releases were all non-rock. First, there was the gritty ballad 'Breakable', then there was her uptempo jazzy number , 'That Girl Don't Live Here', and then the intense 'Call Me Back' that will break your heart every time you listen to it. However, it was only a matter of time before Courtney was going to release a song that unleashes her incredible vocal power, and this song is it. This song is already a hit. Release day was magical as the song climbed to the top of rock charts around the world. #5 in the US, #2 in Australia, #6 in the UK, #4 in Sweden, # 13 in Spain, etc.etc. The official music video should be out in a week or two and I hope you can do a reaction to that as well, because Courtney's creativity is incredible and her music videos are always brilliant. It was so good to hear you give a shout out to the song's lyrics. Courtney's vocal ability is so phenomenal that this part of her talent often gets overlooked, but if you go back and look at each of the four originals she's released this year, and listen to the lyrics, you'll see that, in each song, the lyrics have depth and meaning. No fluff from Courtney to just put out some inane words that fit the music. She is such a powerhouse as a songwriter. And her songs are relateable. We all have our insecurities or demons and we're alll breakable. Besides the incredible vocals, Courtney's songs shine because they have content that is almost universally shared experiences. For now, we need to all listen, stream and share this magnificent rock anthem as much as possible so that we can drive this spectacular song to the top of the charts across the world and keep it there. Any song she sings, original or covers, Courtney always makes the song speak! I noticed you didn't have the video to this song, it is worth watching!!!! Please check out her carnigaie hall, performance. She performed "Another Piece Of My Heart". There are two versions. One is only 2 mins but it is good quality sound and video. The other version is a longer version, which starts at the beginging of her enterance and then the new version and back to the other version to show the ending.
