Wanna hear a crazy theory about Season 6? It begins with *_"What If?"_* What if ... "Mum" was wrong? What if Chloe wasn't created to be _"put in Lucifer's path",_ but the other way around? What if Lucifer was never intended to be "God 2.0"? What if it was supposed to be *_CHLOE?_* She was impaled with part of the Tree of Life, went to heaven, and returned. What if that was a key part of "The Plan"? She did what few other mortals have done: She wielded Azrael's Blade but didn't go into the typical murderous rage. Does that sound like anything you've heard before? Miraculous birth, encounters the devil, killed with (or on) a piece of wood, dies, ascends to heaven, then returns? The only thing I didn't like about Lucifer is how they made his true devil appearance Look just.. I don't know.. Ugly.. now I know some would say that is what the devil would be.. ugly and evil.. but in my opinion the devil is supposed to beautiful and charming more then any Angel and that's where the temptation of the devil comes from. But again it's probably the more fantasy type version of me wanting a more epic looking devil.
His true appearance is not ugly. The devil appearance is how he sees himself. It’s his own self loathing that makes him self actualize that appearance. It is why God asks to him….This is how you really see yourself? It is when he forgives himself that the appearance fades away. He really is the beautiful angel that it is written about him. The irony of the story is that he is the captain of hell. The warden of all the souls that are in the exact same position of himself…incapable of forgiving themselves for the darkness that have brought into the world. It is why once a soul forgives themselves, they are worthy of paradise….Like Lucifer at the end of the series.
