"You can't just waltz on there and go 'hello drug dealers!"... "Detective I would never".... a few moments later "Hello drug dealers come out come out wherever you are"
Assuming she entertained he tells the truth, whoever kidnapped him gave him back already, so yeah. Paper work is definitelly more pressing issue than that
11:50 , im certain at this point it wasnt Chloe laughing but Lauren , and honestly having moments like these makes a show even better when included at the right time and this was a perfect one !
It was actually Lauren!! cuz Tom improvised that line and ofc she didn’t know about it, and yeah, those things make the show better. Like in the musical ep, when Chloe bent over and danced to Luci and he was :o that was improvised by Lauren 😂
I love how when Pierce denies her request for a personal day, she doesn't complain to Dan or Ella as far as we can see, she complains to Lucifer about it
@@schubertuk yeah, but it's still funny how she doesn't go to the forensic scientist or the other detective, but to the guy who literally just does what he wants even if he is her partner and helps her in his own unique way
S3 was really peak best friend Deckerstar, their familiarity and their obvious love that they try to suppress to protect the other, they were absolutely adorable here 😍😍😍😍
Maybe because he had a background as comedian, and singer, apparently, he is the total opposite from the Lucifer from the comics, apart from the being inappropriate, brutally honest and having no clue how to deal with his emotions, but the Lucifer from the comics was for other reasons, he was cold as an iceberg, he never lied, sure, but he didn't give a fuck if he hurt someone in the process, and emotionally drained, after all his rage was gone, he become an empty husk, cold, manipulative, ruthless.
@@AJFilms14 What is really bother me, even that I really love this show, is why they push the reset button in Season 1, after Chloe shoot Lucifer in the leg, the show would have been just fine with Chloe knowing that Lucifer was the fucking Devil, sure, she would be afraid at first, scare, but that is understandable, the Lucifer from the comics not give a fuck about humans knowing what he was, hell, he even cared about his wings, they were his pride and joy, that he even dared to go a dangerous pantheon to get them back at the risk of being killed, but no, they needed to reset the status quo, I known that they want to portray the celestial as cosmic horrors that humans cant understand later on, but Chloe was doing just fine, the story would be much more interesting if Chloe had know that Lucifer was the actual Devil from the beginning, even if she hadn't seen his devil face from the beginning.
@@TheKeyser94 The Lucifer from the comics and the Lucifer from the TV show are two completely different characters, so the writers of the TV show just made different choices. As for knowing that Lucifer is the devil, I think I like the way they kept her in the dark for a long time, although by Season 3 I think they really had to have her find out. 😃
I love that whenever he “lies” he still is telling the truth. Like the hello drug dealers part, technically he didn’t say “hello drug dealers” since vocally it sounds like something else 💀💀💀
it's safe to say Chloe is Lucifer's closest person, but I doubt Chloe is Lucifer's best friend because he's been afraid to reveal his true feelings and ugly side to Chloe, and keep so damn much secrets behind Chloe the whole time(how he came back from hell in S1, how he killed his brother and went to hell to save Chloe in S2, why he married Candy in S2 and why he went to Las Vegas in S3 while Chloe's birthday, what happened in S3 with Kayn). Of course he did it for a good reason, he was terrified of romantic intimacy and vulnerability, and most of all he is afraid that he would scare her off. Clearly, Chloe is going to be his soulmate and lover of all time, but I think now it's hard to say they have reached that level. He even told Linda much more about himself than Chloe
I see what you're saying about the lack of communication but it's not like he doesn't tell her because of a lack of trust or friendship. He just never tells her because A.) She would never believe him anyway and B.) When it comes to the romantic stuff, Lucifer is trying his best to protect her via keeping these secrets (because he truly believes she has no choice in who she chooses to love because of God putting her in his path. It was his own way of trying to give her choice back which he realises later isn't right). And also, I know Linda is Lucifers friend, but she's also his therapist. He's told her the most about himself because that's her job. Just cause a person irl tells their therapist something about their feelings but doesn't tell their best friend it doesn't mean they aren't best friends or that they are closer to their therapist. It just means they talk to their therapist because that's what they pay them to do. We also both know that the romantic bonds between the two of them means that they can't exactly talk about each other to each other like best friends do sometimes with crushes and partners who annoy them. But even without that aspect of their communication together it's still such strong bonds. In this very specific time Chloe and Lucifer were for sure friends and quite possibly even best friends, since Lucifer is Chloe's closest friend at this time and Lucifer found himself happiest when around her or helping her on her cases. It was a very brief period where they weren't just work colleagues, regular friends, romantic interests or straight up romantic partners. And this vidro displays that time pretty perfectly. Relationships are all so very different and complicated. With one friend you could share the world with but with another you have a closer connection that goes even beyond words. It all jusy depends on the person. And for the two of these crime fighting morons (morons referring to the fact that it took them 4 seasons to realise they loved each other. Lol) the connection they share together is beyond anything they have with anyone else. That in itself could justify why they could see each other as best friends.
@@samthelion3925 I get what you mean. But Chloe is desperate for Lucifer to open up to her. The vulnerability stuff in S5 and Cayn's incident in S3 shows that clearly. Even Dr. Linda Martin told Lucifer relationship is about honesty and give and take. You can tell Chloe's insecurity after S3 she finally admitted Lucifer is the love of her life.
i'd say that Linda is Lucifer best friend it's between her and Maze. Chole is his soul mate and every one else he has more of a sibling relationship. Ella is like a little sister to him, Dan he treats him in the same way he treats his siblings and Amendiel....well he's his actual brother.
The ending scene is what got me into this show. I saw it passing by a public TV and I was like. The music! THE HUMOR. Oh hell-lo, Mr Devil, *your face.* And I was sold. XD
Despite not whatsoever representing the rest of the character, Lucifer's chasing style is the embodiment of work Smarter not harder best seen here with the beer and in season 4 with the tyre Love this video BTW :-)
1:46 to 2:00 Bruh that legit killed me like you can just hear the genuine surprise in Lucifers voice. Lucifer: Who are you and what have you done with the detective??🤭🤭🥴🥴
lmao I was just watching s3 and got so sad because of the pecker stuff so I went on my yt and saw this in my recommended! so happy you posted another video 😆😆 Can you believe it's only 4 days left for season 5B? I'M FREAKING OUTTTTT
