man i wish my parents were like him even tho his kid made him promise not to change the future and leave. but they didnt care so man i wish my dad was the devil lol or at least this version
It was a great line that hits really hard, but I completely agree with Lucifer there. He would have come to his realization either way, he didn’t need to miss watching her grow up, changing her diapers, watching her learn to walk and fly. I think they wrote themselves into a corner with the premise of the season (Lucifer abandons his daughter) and there really isn’t a good way to pull that off without killing him.
This does SO need a sequel. Even if it's only a 'made for TV' Film.. And while they're at it, they should involve Rory AND Trixie. I can see SUCH great, and funny sisterly love.
A sequel that’s before this event or after? Because if after, not much of a sequel, this Rory looks young, as she’s half angel, but she must be 50-60, meaning Trixie being human is older and not still a kid. I would love little trixie back, especially when she finds out about celestials and such, with a half angel sister, they’re not gonna be able to keep that secret. Meaning, she’ll want to see her dad and Lucifer… Only plothole for me, Rory knows her dad is Lucifer, why didn’t she ever go down to hell to find him? Or go to someone there that knows more, like she did with Dan when she came back.
Just loved their relationship and see him as dad... He was so awkward trying to fix things, so like his Dad with him, but all he had to do - connect with her through music 🥰 Scene where he tried to convince her not to kill the guy gave me goosebumps and it's such a great callback to s5 ep11 👍
Luci : "Can I get you a drink, or a... Xanax, maybe ?" Rory : *threatens to open her wings* Luci : "Ohhh... fine, fine ! I don't believe this." I laughed SO LOUD 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's like when Logan's (Wolverine) daughter Laura punched him without the claws. She was obviously mad but didn't really want to harm. Unlike Logan, Lucifer was actually scared though.
"I am your father and I demand that you shoot me." 😂 "We do not shoot people in this family" 😁🙈 Like mother like daughter. It looks like it was the same leg as well 🙉
@@oxanatarashchuk4598 I love season 6 in its entirety, including the ending. It was so well done, so much humour and romantic moments of our favourite couple. I mean the love confessions alone spoke volumes. And then Lucifer flying Chloe off to hell and other places was absolutely amazing. The character growth is so evident. I have watched it twice so far, but i want to watch it again. The one liners and the dialogues were so on point. Rory is like my new favourite character so cheeky and badass at the same time like her mum. I remember when I watched it the first time around and Rory hugged Chloe and called her Mum I was like: OMG, best plot twist ever! I am probably in the minoity here, but I loved the time travel storyline. The ending was bittersweet, but to me it was very sutisfying. They got forever in the end. 💗 What can be better than that? And also Lucifer practically becoming a shrink is so symbolical. Linda will be proud after all of the hours she put in into their therapy sesions to make him a better man. What are your thoughts on the final season?
@@christ-abel8774I totally agree!!! 👌 The best thing is that we can re-watch the whole thing from the beginning, although, I can just rewatch season 6 over and over again and honestly never get tired of it. 😉 Writing was awesome this last season: the humour, dialogues, romantic and family moments were so on point. 👍I don't care what anyone says. I watched so many fan videos past the series finale, re-living favourite moments never gets old.🤗
Well it's not her fault. Sure she asked but it's a sacrifice he chose to make for her. His choice. Ask any parent (me for example), if my kid asked something of me, something he needed (even if it made me look bad, even in his eyes), I'd give it and I wud never blame him. Lucifer is an awesome dad.
@@demonking5573 You really think he would have been happy as God? 😅 Too much responsibility, for a start. He basically only wanted the throne out of spite, to prove his dad wrong. Not a great basis for leadership.
Lucifer's character development towards the end of this series was so beautiful. I sincerely hope that all three of them were able to reunite in hell and be a family.
On my second rewatch, I liked Rory much more. As annoying as it was, it was completely necessary for her to be as furious and sullen as she was. There was no other way to make that season's arc work if she had pulled back from that.
0:47 That scene got me first time around. Daddy/daughter issues does it every time. I swear I think it's instinct. You could see that he did recognize her on some level, quickly brushed it off as impossible and the look on her face. Uhgg!
I mean kinda takes a bit of the emotions away when you realize they're both immortals and probably going to meet back up real soon. Rory definitely went straight down to hell after going back to her timeline to popped in and say hi to her dad.
Time on hell and on Earth does not flow at the same speed... Lucifer waited soooo long for her & Chloe to be back, probably thousands of years equivalent on Earth :(
@@MasterpouyaMore like hundreds of thousands or even millions. He was gone for two months and said it had been thousands of years in Hell. Best case scenario, if 1 month = 1 thousand years (which it probably equals several thousand, but that's the minimum), 40 years would be 480 thousand years!! And that's the minimum! We may also calculate it using Malcolm's estimate of 30 seconds = 30 years. With that it would be more than 1.2 billion years!!! but I like to think time just felt much longer to Malcolm since he was being tortured and all. Still, min 480 thousand years apart from your loved ones is it's own form of torture indeed. And he never got to see her grow up! He really did not deserve such an ending 😢
@@michaelkean5969 Sure, but no matter how much you love your job and no matter how fullfilling it may be, I doubt you'd want to do that job non-stop 24/7 (not to mention for an eternity) away from your family and not be able to raise your child.
I'm glad that in this clip it shows Lucifer trying to make amends for his daughter from the future may this will change the future if he tries to make up for all the lack of
I love their father-daughter relationship and the fact that Lucifer's changing from a short tempered , playboy who is angry with his dad (God) to how he faces a similar situation and how he works on it. It's really admirable ❤❤❤
ALL THE SCENES WITH RORY AND LUCIFER IN THE SERIES EPISODE ,MAKES ME CRY! WOW! I REMEMBER MY DAD,THAT WAS PASSED AWAY SOME YEARS AGO!😭😭😭😭☹☹☹☹☹☹☹☹😥😥😥😥😥😢😢😢
I just love that SUPERNATURAL GOD is the one doing this in this series. And EVEN SUPERNATURAL KANE playes God in this series. AND SUPERMAN was KANE in this series.
One note as well. As time went on, Rory's outfits got less and less 'angry', and she stops wearing a collar, possible representation of her freedom from her anger?
am just afraid if the put Rory as the Main character that the show would be another lgbtq trash, she should have her own romance and inportant story with also having a chance for a great family with her own children
The way they explained it was that if he alters anything then the events won’t happen it’s basically like the butterfly effect. If you can change one event everything after it does
@C Archer Only if it has a significant impact on the timeline. If he were to pop up secretively, without anyone knowing of his reappearance, without doing anything that could alter the events then it wouldn't alter the timeline. But we all know something that he does or might do could very well end up changing the future. @NLZ's乛CREATION: He's an Archangel, not an 'angel'. Archangels are far more powerful than regular angels. They were the first beings God and Goddess created way before the creation of the multiverse.
From this video and the clips I've watched this made me realize how much I relate to Lucifer and why he's my favorite. Idk how I'm not going to breakdown when it comes to how he feels and sees himself when talking to Dr. Linda Martin. 10:30- 10:56 man that hit me a little to close for comfort. I feel the same about my dad but then I blame myself because I think I'm the reason why my family has gone down hill and some other personal stuff. Then the next clip just added slat to the wound with Lucifer saying " I know what it's like to be consumed by guilt, by anger, and self-hatred" got me.
The biggest problem I have with this is Lucifer’s new job healing damned souls that job is literally impossible because more people are going to hell every second meaning Lucifer will be doing that job for all of eternity
I think she can but only after she traveled back and Chloe died. She alluded to as much when she said "It's just a blip", i.e. she Lucifer and Chloe will most likely spend eternity together and as soon as Chloe and Lucifer met each other, he was also free to visit Heaven as he pleased. The events before her traveling back in time are fixed but everything after is not. Why she never visited him hell before she traveled back in time is bad writing and not thinking things through. Time travel is a mess and it's the one thing this show never needed, which in my head canon, Lucifer ended after Season 5.
I was under the impression that she didn't know he was even in Hell until the end of her time trip. Why Chloe never told her where he had gone, I don't know.
@@KigaiOkasuChloe couldn’t tell her cause she would have just visited and she couldn’t then cause the time travel via anger. Again another paradox because she wouldn’t have been abandoned and he wouldn’t have left her to do his duty without her asking him
I remember when I young woman,19 at the time. Asked me if I was her dad, I was with my daughter mom at the time. She came to look for her father. Broke my heart, I wish I was for her. She looks so much like my mini me, slash dougher. I pray she found her father. 🙏😥
My daughter turned 14 this month. I've never seen her and I literally don't know where she is in the world??? The last thing I knew she was somewhere in Mexico??? And her mother went to take care of her older sister who was pregnant and had the virus!!!
Once at the last episode of season 6 I was crying bc I already missed Lu so I asked my bf who has Netflix if we could watch the whole series again 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥺🥺😭
Barring Longinus, the Roman soldier who stabbed Jesus’ body with the Spear after the Crucifixion to prove that Jesus was dead, no NT characters are undying or unaging. The closest are those like Arthur or Holger Dansk who are predicted to return at their countries greatest peril.
I heard a rumor that Tom was done and the only reason he agreed to do Season 6 was because he got to explore the concept of Lucifer as a father. I imagine if they drew it out he may not have agreed. However, if they do a spin off at some point i could see him guest staring here or there
This is my life in reverse. My father loved me through every tooth and scraped knee and struggle at school... until he didn't. At age 18 he forced me into the cold, dark world to suffer and likely die. The countless times I almost died in the years of homelessness that followed taught me that he never wanted my forgiveness... he wanted a perfect family... and I wasn't perfect enough for him.
