Lucifer is angry at his dad for killing off his friends and messing with him to a state where his only escape is too drink his pain away and play his Friends favorite song on his piano

Tim Bürger look I’m not try to say it’s mine it was just a little edit that I thought would be fun to post there are millions of other people who make edits on RU-vid that don’t get into any kind of copy right issues
The realism in this scene is unmatched. We all know amazing people who were taken too soon and too unexpectedly. We’ve all shook our fists at the sky asking Him how this was apart of His “plan”. The fact that his own son, The Devil, could feel so attached to someone that he too feels our human emotion is actually very good writing.
If you listen close enough, before the duet with gather Frank, gather Frank was playing knocking on heabens door. After he dies lucifer plays this to pay respects to him
Slept on this show for years. Finally decided to binge it and am awaiting season six. It’s a roller coaster of emotions and has made me cry several times. It also makes me confront my past, present and future all at once. It can be a personal show for some of us.
This scene was very touching... The fact that hes the devil and he found a friend that's the complete opposite from him , idk it's just something that was very sad , and to top it off this version of the song
I want this whole clip played for my funeral. My dad loved guns and roses knocking on heavens door. (I hated it, but love piano.) He got knocking on heavens door. Now... Someday i want this for me.
It's 2021. I've just started the show, after long since enjoying the music. Man 3 episodes in, not only is the music spot on, but the actors have a place in my heart but on my shelf. And not do I already know, I'll ramble about this show, as a old man.
you're probably right, but I'm really excited to see how they're gonna portray him in the new Sandman tv show from netflix. Same source material, two really interesting different outcomes I'd wager
That episode got me in tears, i had childhood friend who was religious due to his religious parents and up bring and i other hand despise god and religion. It was our inside joke. We were 19 years old when he got cancer what no amount prayer or chemotherapy could not heal and two months before his 20 birthday he passed. This scene shows what i felt and i asked literally same questions and still do almost 10 years later, i hope my friend got up there, i would be really sad to see him hell when my time comes.
Ok so I'm now obsessed with this version.not sure how many times I've listened to it but its going to be my funeral song.and hopefully play me up to heaven
Wow!.. He continues to evolve.. I’m not sure if he is playing that or not but I love it!.. Him sitting there is almost real to me!.. Lucifer is the dude to be around making you open up your desires without judgement.. Gotta love it..
It's interesting that Lucifer hates being blamed for the actions of others, the "evil" in the world, but he does the exact thing he hates by blaming his father for everything.
Mama take this badge from me I can't use it anymore It's getting dark too dark to see Feels like I'm knockin' on heaven's door Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door, eh yeah Mama put my guns in the ground I can't shoot them anymore That cold black cloud is comin' down Feels like I'm knockin' on heaven's door Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door, wow oh yeah
This song is a cleaver foreshadow that father frank dies in the episode after playing this earlier on. Possibly my favorite episode in the series and that’s saying something as there are a ton of great episodes.
And Lucifer is still not ready to accept the truth- God gives us choices. We are free to choose. But whatever our choice, there will be consequences. The Priest had a choice. He chose.
Technically God doesn't give us choices he never has. The Devil was the one to give humans Free Will a Choice because he wanted to show God that with out his hand in the foray that humans, Us even though we are made in his image and are him we aren't perfect
@@harrybaldino8955 when we were talking about adam and eve on our lesson that is exactly what I told my teacher. He said " The Devil is evil" "Why? Because he gave people free will?" The teacher looked at me like I was crazy but..... that's the truth
@@szymonradzimierski9003 the devil is not evil, he punishes evil and people only see him that way because god has the high ground and he pushed his son out of heaven to banish him to hell probably because he knows he cant win
Harry Baldino God gave us free will when He created us if he hadn’t we couldn’t have chosen to eat the fruit and fall into the original sin. Pure and simple sin is anything that goes against the law or will of God so it’s based on choices to do your own thing instead of following God and obeying Him
This show had it's moments. I love this scene. Not 100% convinced with the 'buddy cop' angle the series tended towards, but some of the more 'Sandman' character pieces were fantastic. Kind of stopped watching midway through season 3. Really looking forward to the new Sandman series though.
I know the feeling. My Mother passed away last May due to COPD. She did not deserve that. I'm very emotional due to the speech. I REALLY MISS HER EVERYDAY.
Here i am found this song a while back,(,brought me to the show.) Was my father's favorite song. He endured 27 major surgeries, (to me he was a pots and pans robot, dude got broken so many times, but put himself back together). As someone who played piano till a digital amputation. I wish i would have made the time to share this with him. Always hated this song till i stumbled apon it in piano.. I couldn't help but laugh, when we were discussing what we should play for the three songs. His phone just blared it ( a random alarm he'd set with the song. So knocking on heavens was what everyone else heard. God was it funny, to laugh as others cried, or hat i wasn't, sad but.... Man did life line up how he would have wanted.
My dad LOVED knocking on heavens door. ( hated it, and I've always loved piano. Played a little myself.) Found this song too late. It was beautiful, and when I asked my mom if we could play it at his funeral, cause she didn't know what he would have wanted. His ringtone to give himself insulin went off. (Luck of time) He got his favorite song. I just wish i could have shared this with him. Man showed up out out of the blue one day, and demanded we spend the whole day together. Hugged me told me he was so,soo,so proud of the man I had become, and was glad he was wrong. Mom sworn up and down he said he believed it would be his last chance, and had to come see me. Dude died less than a month later. Now in fashion, I fcked with the funeral director. You got anything corrugated?... (Thats card board for those that dont know😂) Miss that old man.
It's how we react to the good & bad from others good or bad choices that show our character. How we handle & navigate our lives that matter in the end. Without terrible things in life how could someone know the wonderful times are all around us as well. Life's a wonderful & terrible journey.....but that's what it's supposed to be. In my opinion of course.
If you want to use my music for your edit, that's fine. But then at least give me credits in the description. Cause you're using my music without any permission. Thank you in advance. Niels Piano
Please Father, if in your heart can you let your son come home? 😢 I have humbled myself before you and your answer is silence? Why do you treat me so? Due to my rebellion?
It doesn't matter if you're a sinner, it doesn't matter if you're a saint. What's the bloody point? Gerald, those lines strike me on a personal level, as do yours.
