I love how it seems they had no idea of the exterminations, almost as if all of their time is devoted to the highest of heaven and those on earth, unaware of the state of the lower half of heaven and all of hell. They’re doing other things, and they thought the afterlife was under control. Part of me wonders if letting Adam into heaven was more of a formality than anything else, assuming he was suited enough. Maybe heaven had lower standards cuz there were less dead souls? Or maybe souls just corrupt overtime and grow stubborn in their ways. Love this, can’t wait to see more!
