@@coradejong1014 I find it sad because Tom Ellis made himself available to the public & fans. He allowed them a real sense of belonging. It has hurt him, his family and his millions of fans as well.. He is entitled to his views. In the UK and even here in Australia Faith for example is also a issue that is not usually entwined with politics. To the degree it is in the U S A. He is far from the first celebrity to express their views about a politician . You don't have to share his views if you don't wish too but the vicious way he was attacked is not on. Again such a shame

I think the majority of it came when Tom started tweeting about politics. Which when you are a celebrity is going to garner a lot of disagreement.

Definitely agree about Tom being the perfect James Bond. I just started watching the series and almost finished with season 2. He is a compelling actor to watch as is the rest of the cast.

I do believe Tom is doing exactly that! I recently watched a video of Tom chatting with his vocal teacher/coach. I could tell that he gained more control of his singing voice as "Lucifer" went on! I don't know if Tom has had time to continue singing since then.

What is sad about it as well. There is sooo much love for him & Lucifer on twitter It took some idiots to ruin it for others Sooo dissapointing

As a former actor, now drama teacher. The reason for it is that how ever good something looks or sounds to other people.... You will always find things that are not perfect, not the way you want it. Plus just the fact that barley anyone likes watching back a video of themself. Let alone watching your art. Acting is a very intimate profession. It's very confronting watching yourself.

While Lucifer originated as a DC Comics character, the show clearly went a different direction. The only cross-over was Tom's short cameo in the Crisis of Infinite Earths event on the CW Arrowverse. That was a bit tongue-in-cheek, and not intended to open up the Lucifer-verse to the other comics-based properties. It would be fun to see Tom Ellis and Matt Ryan do some kind of buddy comedy of Lucifer/Constantine, but I doubt it will ever happen.
