I watch shows very casually but this show achieves to grab my attention, draw emotion and is perfectly executed in a way that makes you realize what the purpose of film really is.
An interesting fact. Only Lucifer called God as Dad, all the other siblings called him Father. You know the word "dad" is much more dearing than the word "father"... And Lucifer was supposed to hate God
@@brydieduve4517 Definitely, that's why he is the lightbringer....Remember what God said: "Oh my son, the Light Bringer..So full of light that it blinds even you sometimes"..
Take chances and apply for a Job als an extra? If you really care about it, especially, if you're into acting yourself, this could be an actual chance nowadays. I actually am prepping the realization of a concept I've been procrastinating over was too long because the right kind of support was missing. Think about only three things for a moment: 1: So you want it enough, to make a fool out of myself? 2. What can you pay? 3. What are you willing to pay? And by payment I don't mean money or anything else materialistic, I'm talking about dignity and self-respect. Doesn't even Matter if it's for love, a dream job or any dream really, if you feel like it's worth emberassing yourself in front of the whole world, you should definitely go and try. I wanted too take one of those volunteer jobs at a festival in sweden last year but we all know the story. Point is I'm still chasing my dreams and I just came to realize, how even at my darkest points I was subconciously working towards them and now I'm close. If you feel like there's a way, there's always a way.
I hate that it is raping up in session 6 I have utterly enjoyed this show! And come to emotional heights and lowest with Tom Elise's Lucifer character. Well played
Not to many tv shows that i have ever watched had me invested like this one. Damn, from the first episode all the way to the 5th season and 16th episode was pretty good. There were some awesome shows and a couple not so great but I always wanted next week to hurry. Lol. Tom Ellis and Tom Welling season 3 was pretty good. I was waiting for Welling to turn into Superman and fight the Devil but nope it never happened. Lol. I did however cry when Trixie walked into the hospital asking about her dad. I have a 4yr old and I am not in great health without going into details, just say I'm putting up a fight everyday. So yeah, that episode hit home and hit hard. My wife sat there and couldn't believe that I sat through it watching. It was good. If it ended today without a season 6, I think I would be ok with it, but I am glad to know that the ride isn't just over yet.
I loved this show SO much! The characters were really great & I got very fond of them all. I really miss them, now that it's no longer on the air, so I keep returning to Netflix to watch it, over & over again.
I was smiling the whole time and then DB jumped on screen and I was laughing so hard. I thought it was the best episode ever until the big prank episode.
There is literally no one better than Dennis Haysbert for that role. I've wanted him to play "Dad" since season 2. I had it completely spoiled and read an article that he'd been cast in the role just a week before 5A was released. And I wasn't even mad.
I love musicals. I love the wide variety in the way they did the show. I loved the set designs. I super loved the way they did the lighting. I loved 96% of the story line but what I didn't like others loved. I even liked the cartoon. The special effects was underbugeted but they did a good job with what they had. Acting and direction is what hooked me from episode one on. Can't stop watching.
OK so season 5B dropped already, so all we’re doing now is waiting for season 6 to begin?. And will season 6 be the final season forever and ever… Amen? no pun intended haha. Somebody clue me in please.
Tom Ellis told ET this was definitely the last season but that he would consider reappearing at some later time if the timing worked out. So maybe there could be some kind of spin-off. I’m not sure who would be able to cross over into that and still have it be as fun. Maybe fast forward 15 years and Maze, Eve, and Trixie are bounty hunters for hire while Amenadiel and Linda are trying to help Charlie live the most normal life a Nephilim can live.
OMG I JUST THINK I FOUND A CLUE WHEN Chloe slids in white clothes it’s like in the flash when there planning there wedding. There both dc. A coincidence I think not
Them wrapping up for season 6 is both perfect and sad. Almost all storylines of the main characters are completely wrapped up.(SPOILERS..... Linda reuniting with her long lost child) Glad the showrunners decided this than to drag the show for multiple seasons, I truly hope they nail the landing in season 6, unlike other shows that completely destroyed every character development in the final season.....
Hard disagree. Haysbert was perfect, especially considering how beautifully he and DB Woodside are together on screen. I remember them vividly from 24 as brothers so it was just the best thing ever to watch them playing relatives again.
Tom Ellis doesn't want to continue lol. It's not that Netflix doesn't want the show to go on but Tom has had enough and thinks it's best for the show to end after season 6
@@marijn17s not true, Netflix cancelled the show, and Tom Ellis said that he thinks the story concludes beautifully and doesn’t need a continuation, but it was Netflix’s decision
Nah, this show's probably done once season 6 ends, but I would not rule out a spinoff about another character. And I mean, CW could always invite him over for a cameo in Legends to visit with Constantine.
@@Sanny407 hands down the funniest moment of the entire series. I mean this was on the same level as Joey figuring out Monica and Chandler were sleeping together funny. When Dan first asks at the end "Then why did you do it?" I literally looked at the screen and said out loud, in Lucifer's accent "Because you shot me, Daniel." I'd figured it out and was waiting for the hilarious line. And then he added the F-bomb and made it even MORE perfect. 🤣🤣
i honestly found the musical episode really annoying. i know that theres a reason for it in the story but its just annoying when im engaged in the story and then that just breaks when they just start fucking singing for the 5th time
5b's musical episode was FAR from the best. Probably the most CRINGE episode ever! Hated it! Whenever the showrunners push a certain episode as "best" it's ALWAYS been the "worst".
Normally I don't like musical episode in series but this one was EXCEPTIONAL! Not only I love the songs and how they change the lyrics, but more importantly, they have dialogues and story going. LIke Ildy said (the producer), it was grounded with the story development; that made a huge difference. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the musical episode of this series turned out. Bravo!
I loved the musical episode. I usually like the sugary sweet and sappy stuff while my son likes the action and others like the horror. We all like the comedy and romance.
You could have skipped the songs only, they dont dance and sing 50minutes in the episode and it was fun to see "God" and "Lucifer" interact with each other.
Thats why I was a little apprehensive about it, but it was brilliant, great song choices which suited the story. One of my favourite episodes. The story worked there wasn't that many songs and Tom sings more than the others anyway which is normal for this show, so not really sure why anyone is struggling with the idea
